You guys are too funny! My name is Nadia Exama. I don't have a middle name because my mom was too tired from labor to think of one. What else could her excuse be?! She didn't even pick my first name for crying out loud, lol. WTH? My younger brother has a middle name, hmph! Rolling Eyes Anywhoo, Nadia means "hope" in Slavic languages. Doubt that's why it was chosen but my dad picked it, further proving that my dad is the man, lol!

i'd only give them easy pronounceable names but i think yoruba middle names would be cute.. but only short names like lola or taiwo which aren't too complicated

My name is Saundra Lynn Loving. I always get asked about my last name but I think it describes my perfectly.

My maiden name starts with a "T" So my initials were "SLT" like my dad's. My dad's first name is Samuel so my mom was gonna name me Sammantha, which I sometimes wish she did. At least people would pronounce it right.

Only clear people seem to be able pronounce my name right....Son-dra. I even give people references when I tell them my name and they still get it wrong. I always say, "You remember the show, 227? Remember Sondra? That's how you pronounce my name" I end up getting called Sandra, Shundra, and Sonya anyway.

My aunts on both sides of the family call me Saundra Lynn.
Close friends call me Lynn or Lynnie. My sister in law calls me Lynnie Pooh. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Enough rambling.

Janay Latifa Bailey

I was originally going to be a Kendra, but one day mom was watching Oprah, and there was a guest in the audience named Janay, and she was hooked! My dad's favorite uncle was Muslim, and insisted that my middle name be Arabic; I hated my middle name for years until I found out it meant precious and delicate, which is pretty fitting =)

My name is Nicole Jeanette Nadine Young. Nicole was chosen by my father yet my mother preferred Jeanette but since I was his first and only child she let him have his way that one time. Jeanette, and Nadine are the middle names of my mother's two older sisters and Young represents my father.

I've always been proud of my names because I have two middle names and that meant during graduation my full name would be pronounced. When I have children my daughter's name will be Aniya Nicole and Camron Nicholas for my son. My name must be eminent since they will have there father's last name. I may give my daughter a Native American middle name to pay homage to my ancestry.

I have tears of laughter after reading these stories...you chicas are hilarious [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] !!!!

My name is pretty simple...Veronica Lee Gilbert.

Lee is after my dad...in fact both my brother and I have the same middle name, he is Henry Lee (country, I know). My mom thought it would be cute for us to share the same middle name...whatever. I considered going by my middle name in highschool, just to be different but I never did [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . Most of my fam call me, "Ms. V", something my brother came up with when I was born. And I have a few college buddies and old coworkers that call me Vicki (like my name is Victoria).

My government name is Shalonda(like Yolonda) Shaivvie(pronounced Sha-V). I have NEVER met anyone with my middle name. Not sure what mommy and daddy was thinking when they name me but hey I LOVE it now.

My Mom gave me the name Trisheena. A name given by a "friend". She didn't like the nickname my grandmother called me 'Trish', so she changed it to Tisheena. Only problem is, when I am called by someone who's never met me, 9 times out of 10 I get called Tanisha. I'm like I know my name's not all too common, but give me a break. How in the ham sandwich do you come to switch the 'sh' for the 'n' for crying out loud. Friends call me Sheena, family Sheen. Didn't like the name when I was younger, now I love it. Apparently a distant relative did also, she named her daughter Sheena. I think I will give my daughter this as a middle name also. My middle name was that of my Great-grandmother ~Livierre. For years I loathed that name also, but once I got older and understood how much of a wonderfully strong and beautiful woman she was I grew to love and admire it.

My birth name is Resia Mae Walker. I always hated my middle name (way too country for my taste) so I changed my maiden name to my middle name and dropped the Mae. I am officially Resia Walker Haywood. Resia is pronounced Ree-sa, not Resha or Reecie or Rosia or Re-si-a. I can't tell you how many times, my name has been mispronounced. When I was younger, I used to get upset when my name was mispronounced. Now that I am older and wiser, I don't correct people anymore. I just go with the flow.

Antigone Locklear is my birth name. My mom saw the play Antigone when she was in college and decided that when she had a daughter that would be her name. However when she had my sister she decided to name her Twyla, so when I came alonge I nabbed Antigone. For this reason I feel like I was destined to be Antigone!

My name is Jonesha. I was named after my father (Jonathan) and my grandfather (John). I always like the name because I have yet to find someone whose name is spelled like mine. My name also means "Gift of God". Go figure. My last name is well...just check out my screen name and figure it out, lol. Oh, my middle name is named after royalty... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]. So you can guess, right?

I'm so paranoid about giving my name on the internet, lol!
