I don't do anything...that's just my natural curl pattern. That's why I don't have any volume, My hair is more wavy than curly! le sigh.....

I wish I had some great hair styling secrets to tell you...but the truth is I don't really do anything to it regarding styling. I just layer on the leave in/styling products and go about my business...wet head and all.

My hair is truly a wash and go. Wash/cowash, slap on DC as leave in, spritz or liquid leave in spray, styling gel, oil or butter. It takes less than 5 minutes to do it. My hair is very defined on it's own and as long as I keep it moisturized, it just do what it do.

Ok WnG guru, another question:

I know you don't use cones anymore--had you always been this way? If not, in past use of products with cones, did they weigh your hair down/make it stick straight? I've been experiencing this lately with the HE conditioners.....

A few months after going natural I eliminated cones. I didn't know anything about them, I was just learning then. I didn't like what I learned so I cut them all. I realized then that they had causing my dryness issues. No moisture can get to the hair. Every natural that I've worked with has had a silicone heavy product lineup. And every last one had dryness and breakage issues.
