but in a good way. I coulnd't get that pic out of my head the next day. I'm a PJ too and love it. Trying to cut back but there's so much good stuff to try. And I like having things on hand and options.

I'm determined to get me some shelves up so I can have all my stash on full display and on hand when I need it.

BC? Your hair looks good, why do you want to chop? I don't know if I missed that or not.

btw, I see pretty natural products in whole foods all the time. I've only used the braid/anti-itch spray which I really liked

I decided not to BC...for now! Smile

I was getting sick of the 2 colors. It wasn't long enough to look like I was growing it out...I have major shrinkage at my roots and then it stretches out. While I was deciding to BC, I happened to look up and my hair passed that point. So now it looks like I've got platinum weave floating all over my head!!

I really can't remember. When I was a kid (no chemicals) it was really long. But it was always in braids, so I can't say how long exactly. When it was relaxed a few years before I went natural, it was getting quite long. The front would never grow as long as it has now, but the rest was quite lengthy. That's why I cut it back then, I couldn't stand all that hair on my neck and back. It was the last haircut I had before I had the medical issues and BCd. Actually, that's why I recently chopped the back off....can't standing it on my neck and back!!! Ewwww....and when it's wet?!?!?! (shudder!!)

I'm beginning to wear updos almost exclusively now. Even though the back is chopped now (3-4" streched at nape, 5-7" towards crown) my sides (stretched it's at my boobs) and with shrinkage it's hanging on my shoulders. Working a nerve! Smile

I'll have to tweak it some more. My curls aren't really defined. I may have to use FLS first. My hair needs glycerin on it with nothing between it...but I am going to try it again.

That's the main thing in it...glycerin. My hair loves glycerin! But you can't have any oil based product on under it.

I made sure to only use my leave-in and I added Qhemet's Root Butter after I applied FLS all over because I didn't want to risk having oil underneath the product.

Hey Blondie! I'm still using FLS too with great results. I remember you told me that it doesn't play well with oils too, but recently I've been putting in some EVCO in my hair just before and I haven't had any problems. Maybe some oils are better than others when the two are mixed?

I also tried using KY Jelly in my hair recently too and had good results. I think my hair really likes the glycerine. I know I've read about people buying glycerine at the supermarket or something....you know where I can get some without having to hike it to Whole Foods?
