Hey ladies!!! My posts have been few lately, BUT!!.....
As of this morning my weight is down to 194.4 and after my workout it was down to 193.0!!! But just counting the 194.4 I have lost a total of 14.1 lbs since 1/1/11!!!! YAY!!! I'll be happy if I can lose another 14 lbs this month!! (Can you believe it's already February????!!!!)
I measured yesterday and my measurements pretty much stayed the same except my waist - from last week I lost 1/2".

So I'm happy!!! woot!

Hahahahaha!!!!! Thanks. I probablt won't lose that much this month but it would be nice.

I am as always this time on Tuesdays, watching The Biggest Loser. I can't believe that older guy gained weight AGAIN!!! He has gained FIFTEEN lbs while on TBL!!!! WTH???? That just doesn't happen. WTH is he doin?????? That's a shame. He and the girl BOTH gained 6 lbs this week!!!! I'd be mad as hell if I GAINED even a pound on TBL!! Anyway.....ttyl Smile

Hahaha!! well now we can talk about it!!! LOL Them folks did good the 2nd half!!! Pullin big numbers!! I wish I could pull numbers like that each week!!!! Shooooot. I'd meet my goal in like a MONTH!!! LOL Very Happy

LOL! Yep, I was really happy for them losing big like that and nobody being sent home. Gaining weight on TBL is crazy. I think they either do it on purpose or they're not being honest about what they ate or something. IDK, I love watching that show and seeing Bob and Jillian react when they gain or eat the wrong thing.

Someone DID go home, The black girl Larialmy (I don't know how that sounds like 'Laremy' but ok LOL) The one with the low cut TWA. She was sent home. And the older white twin was sent home in the 1st half. Yeah, but they're either lying or somethin. That's such a waste of time though especially when someone else more worthy and willing could have been in that spot!!!!

I know right?! I know they went home, but I was talking about the team that weighed in with a total loss of more than 48 lbs, which gave them immunity, and that's when Larialmy went home from the other team.

Shocked At the spelling. I don't know girl, I guess folks can spell their names any way they want.

Anywho, I was hoping Q went home because of his selfish attitude, but I guess sending his wife home was good enough...Karma!

I know Im a couple of days late but I hadnt gathered the courage to get on the scale until now. I just measured and I'm down two pounds since last week. This is great for me because I was doing a 5K everyday from the beginning of Jan and hadnt lost a pound until now, so its small but better than nothin. Im gonna weigh myself in the AM and repost with my measurements. Iv decided that Im only gonna weigh at the start of each month and just post my measurements weekly. As of three minutes ago I am 207 (down from 209.6), measurements coming soon. Also its a whole new month which means my workout routine will be difffernt from last months. I still enjoy running walking but so I may incorportate it once to twice a week but February 2011 will be totally dedicated to ZUMBA... excited like a kid in a candy store!!! Ladies can I still join?

I have been trying to live a healthier lifestyle since the end of December. I have cut out fried foods and staying away from bread (my weakness) and pasta. If we do have pasta I get wheat. We no longer keep unhealthy snacks in the house. I buy yogurt or granola bars Oh and I love rice cakes. I haven't been eating fast food and drinking a lot more water. Hubby and i joined a local gym...I go at least 3 times a week (more if I can get a sitter), the other 4 days i either do Zumba with my girlfriends on the Wii or I do hip hop abs at my home. The last time I was on a scale it was in December and I was 205. I haven't gotten the courage to get back on because I know if I see a number that I don't like I will get discouraged, So I will weigh in at the end of this month. I do want to keep track of my measurements so I will get hubby to help me with that and post soon....if you guys don't have a problem with me joining.

C'mon and join us, the more the merrier!!! Everyone here pretty much does their own routine and we use this thread for sharing and receiving tips and getting lots of encouragement. We usually weigh or do measurements on Sundays but whatever day you want to start its great. I too will be keeping track of all the random numbers and will only weigh myself at the start/end of every month. Good luck on your journey!

Hey Tresmom!!!! Of course you can join us. Like Blkbeauty said, the more the merrier. I understand that you are hesitant to get on the scale but you may want to anyway. If it's higher than you'd like that may motivate you to go ahead and get it started in high gear. If it's lower than you thought than that will also motivate you to continue doing what you're doing. I had to force myself to look so I knew where I stood. Glad I did beause I have lost 14/7 lbs since 1/1/11!!! YAY!!! Very Happy So good luck to you. You will do great!!!

You ladies are doing great! There's some major progress going on.

I hadn't checked in because my 'results' were kinda depressing, but it is what it is. I lost a pound a week the first two weeks when I wasn't really working out. Now that I've been working out the past two weeks, I gained those 2 stinking pounds back. Knowing my body, it's stinking muscle weight ... but we'll see what happens.

On a brighter note, I bought Zumba for the Wii. It's not too shabby. I'm not a big workout video junkie, but I can hang with that.

Hi, ladies! Just checking in. I have been seeing some great progress since I tweaked the amount of calories I was taking in and upped my workout time. I cheated and got on the scale (couldn't help it!) I lost 2 lbs and another half inch in my waist. Fitness wise, my endurance has definitely been building. I can do 50 minutes now and the time just flies by! The one cheat day a week and logging my meals have really been helpful too. I feel good and I am excited about reaching my final goals! I have broken them into 5 lb chunks. I am being patient and not rushing the process. That's helping mentally. So here's to another great week ladies!

HEAVIEST WEIGHT (NOT INCLUDING PREGNANCY.) ACCORDING TO MY SCALE 261.
I DON'T DO MEASUREMENTS, BUT I MAY START. I DO BELONG TO CURVES. ALTHOUGH I HAVE SLACKED OFF. I WILL TRY TO POST EVERY SUNDAY IF I CAN.

I didnt measure today... being lazy and I said i wasnt going to weigh until the end of the month but i did and today I am 204 even. That means I have lost 5.6 pounds in one month. This makes me extremely happy because for the first 2-3 weeks I didnt loose and ounce and toward the end it started coming off. For those of you who are getting discouraged know that things like this take time and patience but the results will definitely come.

i see many of us have increased our physical activity but has anyone done anything more than exercise that you feel has been helpful for you throughout this process? diet, calorie counting, no sweets, more fruits/veggies, more water, more sleep, supplements... c'mon ladies spill the beans!
