2011 Weight Loss Challenge!
Hey ladies! I was wondering if anyone would interested in a weight loss challenge for the upcoming year. I'm looking to lose the 30+ pounds I gained while being in the military. Would anyone be interested in joining me? We can update when we workout, how we ate and and/or weight loss progress and keep each other motivated. Any takers?

Alrighty. This is how it works:
First post your info like this:

Start Weight:
Current Weight:
Goal Weight:
(Feel free to add additional info ex. BMI, Measurements, Other Goals)
Post as often as you feel like it but our check in date is every Sunday.
Let us know how you did!
Also if you choose to, take a before picture of you now and every 30/60/90 days post your after pic.
Share your tips, pointers and advice!

I have picked up 20+ pounds and I AM losing them. The hardest part for me will be carbs. I love bread (it is my favorite food), rice, pasta, and of course the sweets!

I want to lose 15-20 lbs this year. My first goal is to lose 10 lbs by April 1. I find that when I make goals to lose too much too quickly I get easily disappointed.

I'm in! I started before Christmas, I figure why wait until the new year? I'm trying to keep SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely.
1. I will work out at least 3 times a week for at least 35 minutes.
2. I will lose 10lbs by March 12th, another 10 by May 21st, and the final 10 by July 30th.
3. I will limit my intake of sweets to once a week or less and eat at least two raw fruits/veggies a day.
Let's do it ladies!

I'm definitely down. I need to lose about 30 pounds but this is just an estimate. I'm too scared to get on the scale to see how much I weigh. So I will weigh myself at the end of January which I hope to be at 170 by then. My goal is to be 150 lbs my by birthday which is in April.
I think Sunday would be a good day for us to check in since it is the end of the week or beginning depening on how you look at it and we can detail how we did. What do you think ladies?

Count me in! I'm on here a million times a day anyway, might as well add weight loss as one of my reasons. I could definitely stand to lose 30 lbs. I'll be happy with 20 ... at least it will give me hope.

I'm in! I'd like to lose about 15-20 lbs.. probably closer to 20. I'll be in a friends wedding in August, so I'd definitely like to reach this goal before then (and before I get fit for the dress!) My diet and exercise routine will start January 1st.

OMG, I'm so in!!!! I need to lose about 35-40 (again). I lost it a while ago, moved, then got lazy, started back again, then it got too cold outside to go walking with my baby, got too lazy again to do inside.....anyway...I'm In!!!! LOL
