her daughter new found confidence and comfort. Mommy began to search curly nikki . She saw photos of Lynnieluve's hair and was thrilled about the possibilities and different looks that women with natural hair can attain. She spent the rest of her day...

She discovered head bands, fro hawks and twists..... Oh how cute...

Then she locked the door and called her stylist to arrange to....

her appointment to do her BC, her daughter over heard her and told her not everyone BC's you can transition. Mom asked whats that, she said......

His eyes got really big, and all his books dropped to the floor...he scrambled to grab them dropping more in the process. When he finally composed himself she heard him say...

'Whoa. What happened to your hair?' She could tell that he hated it. She replied...

"No." he said, and frowned in clear disapproval. "You playing for the other team or what? The hell is going on with all you girls, chopping off all your hair? Something's in the water."

"Not with THAT head. How am I supposed to be seen with you, looking like that? You look like a dude." He shook his head and walked off. "I can't deal with this right now. I'm late for class. We'll talk later."

His words stung. "I look like a dude?" she thought to herself. "Is that what everyone else thinks too?" All of the confidence that she had built up had suddenly vanished. She felt her face get red, and her eyes well up with tears. Just then, her cell rang......
