Chanel was so embarrassed, but Xavier said to Chanel dad "No problem sir I will have Chanel home by 9:30pm as you stated." So Chanel kissed her mom, and hugged her dad and left with Xavier. As they were walking to the car Xavier said......

"It's not Chanel that I'm concerned about, it's the boy! You know what boys have on their minds at that age, Connie, and I'm not about to let our daughter fall into any traps, schemes, and folly! "Oh Darrel!!! You MUST learn to trust our daughter. Chanel and I have had many talks about dating like a lady, being responsible, and keeping her focus on the future. She understands the importance of waiting to get too serious with a guy. Besides, the more you pull on the reigns, the more she WILL resist. Then who's fault is it going to be, huh? I trust HER and you should too. We must respect the fact that she is getting older and we should TRUST her. We have instilled good morals and values into Channel. She called her daughter and gave her the good news. Mom came over to her husband and thought mmmmmm while my daughter is out why not take advantage of this quiet time to get more aquainted with my husband. On the other side of town Chantel was hanging her with her mom when she told her date...............

"We have extra time!! I am so excited because I am having such a nice time!" He smiled and said "I will have your home early, because I want your father to trust me!" She just smiled and then she frowned when she looked pass him and saw.....

dun .... du dun dun... her ex! She thought to herself... what is HE doing here? He's never taken me anywhere this nice before. You know what, I'm going to pretend I didn't see him. He is NOT going to ruin this night for me. Just as she looked back down into her plate to continue eating, he walks over and says...

"Hi, can I speak to you for a min?" Her date said "excuse me.....

But we are on a date together and you act as though I am not here with her. Chanel I am not trying to disrespect you at all or speak for you but he is being rude asking to speak to you while we are trying to have a lovely dinner. Chanel looked at her date and smiled, held his hand and loved the way he spoke up and she said to her ex..

"It would be best if you would leave us be now. I am on a date and frankly I am enjoying myself. So, you can either excuse yourself, or be escorted elsewhere." Her ex looked at her in shock and replied.."Chanel, I can't believe you are treating my this way....and over a hair cut! With everything that we have been through! All this time we have been together and you cut me out of your life JUST LIKE THAT! I thought we were better than that Chanel! .....sniff sniff ...I thought we were better than that!" He walked away hesisitantly, with his head hung low. Chanel looks at him, and then looks at her date. "So ..... where were we?" she says with a satisfied smurk on her face.....

Yes we are and I know you are just getting out of a relationship but I want you to know that I've been waiting for a chance to be with you for a while now and if given some time I know we can become more than just friends.
