Re: Mommy Talk
so picture this...I hear a baby cry out, not a cry cry, just an "I'm up come and get me cry". So I walk in her room and there she is standing in the crib with her sippy cup tucked under her arm smiling...
I love being a mommy

Cute girls 3C.
We just found out my sister in law is expecting her 4th baby in June. She has 3 boys so I'm just praying and wishing that she has a girl! I need a little princess to spoil. It'll be sad that we'll be leaving that following month so I'll have to love her up as much as possible before we go

Re: Mommy Talk
My 7month old held her bottle for the firt time yesterday. She was sucking the bottle and her thumb at the same time. I thought I'd never see this day.

Aw congrats to your SIL!! Is she hoping for a girl too?
Re: Mommy Talk
She would love a girl, Jamaica but will of course take whatever she is blessed with.

Re: Mommy Talk
Hey ladies, I'm late! I have 2 baby girls.
2 yr old, a social butterfly, sweet as can be, who loves to dance, & isn't interested at all in potty training right now.
6 mth old, mama's baby who still isn't sleeping all night, but is otherwise the sweetest thing. I just successfully weaned her a few wks ago & she's doing great.
Someone asked about IUD's?? I'm waiting for my insurance to clear the procedure so hopefully I'll be getting one soon! My sis has the Mirena & has had alot of probs w/it unfortunately [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] but I also know alot of people who do have it & haven't had any probs.

Aw you have 2 girls How sweet!
Yes, I asked about IUD's. I have Paraguard (the one without hormones). For some reason I can't remember when I got it....last summer maybe? I don't have problems with it but my periods are much heavier than before. Some ppl complain of cramps getting worse but fortunately since I've had my kids I have little to no cramps and the IUD hasn't changed that (thank God because it used to be real bad!) My period also lasts 1 day less than it used to. My only problem really is that ovulation is very uncomfortable and sometimes a little painful .

Aw, maybe he hurt his leg? Well it's good that he's still doing what he does best!
Re: Mommy Talk
Earlier this week he kept pulling up his pant leg. I looked at his leg and didnt see anything. But today was when I noticed he was limping and he keeps holding his knee.
He probably hurt it from falling. You know he is at the age where they love to run so he trips and/or fall a lot.
I hope we dont end up paying an arm and leg to find out nothing is wrong. I hate going to the doctor this time of year.....you know... when your deductible starts over.

Re: Mommy Talk
I hear you girl! And nothing stops them from running and jumping all the time! My 3 year old is constantly running and hitting his head or getting bruises on his legs from bumping into walls and furniture! A couple days ago he busted his lip after falling on the kitchen floor (tile) as he was running to greet my husband when he came home! Poor thing, his lip bled so much and was swollen for a good 24 hours. But he sure enjoyed getting to drink everything through a straw!

@Jamaicacurl
I have the merena. I got it in August. For almost 2 months I bled! I hated it! It wasn't a lot of blood but enough to fill a couple of pantiliners daily. I almost went back to the gyno to get it removed. But things are better now. I don't really get periods. I may spot a little on and off for about a day or two when it's "time" for my period, but that's it. I chose to get the IUD because I can never remember to take the pill and I didn't think I could handle the nuvaring. I can bearly handle inserting a tampon, lol.

Re: Mommy Talk
I have a 4 y/o son, 3 y/o twin step daughters and a 2 y/o daughter (Kurly T). I just moved to ATL from Virginia Beach and I am loving it. My kids miss their nana, but we have them in an awesome preschool and they are thriving. My 2 y/o can count to 20 and say her grace and abc's...I'm so impressed.
I am also starting my own blog about Toddler Hair Care. I am inspired by Nikki G. She does such a great job. You can check out my blog Here. It's not done, but it will be up soon.
Nice to meet all of you!
