DETECTIVE NUBIE ON THE CASE!!!
BUT SERIOUSLY, I think the snowy problem we see here with all these curlies is heavy handedness. I learned very quickly that it is best to use products with a light hand, then if you don't see what you are looking for increase the amount.
Another BC for the summer would be fun. More wash n go ability indeed.
I agree, heavy handedness can cause more problem than we realize. I know I am guilty of this and still working on it

sometimes it's automatic. I'm adding product in my hair like a stepford wife. LOL

Re: SheeTacular's Hair Journey - Slide show!
Ok so I was too tired to wash my hair after service last night. This morning I steamed my hair and it didn’t look to bad. So I pinned up both sides to make a fro hawk. I twisted the bang and tied my hair down. When I got to work I removed my twists (sitting in the parking lot) and all the flakes I didn’t see in the bathroom mirror were basking in the sunlight . So I brushed the outer part and pinned in a pompadour. When I got in I went to the bathroom took down the pompadour rinsed it in the sink. That didn’t work. So I added some hand soap foam then rinsed. It looked so much better. I blotted with paper towel and wrapped it in paper towel while I pottied. Then I put in some leave in condish and shea butter mix #5. (Yes I keep small sized containers of hair products in my desk at work…..don’t judge me. LOL )
I put in two strand twists. Hopefully they will dry so I can have an awesome bang. I pray that no one gets a good look at the rest of this mess on my head.
I am still getting compliments though so I guess I’m good…..right.
I am definitely gonna cowash tonight. I’m not sure how I’m gonna style though. I am praying at a prayer breakfast tomorrow morning and the last service of the conference tomorrow evening. I plan to cowash and twist Sunday Night. I have a challenge (In Bill Cosby’s voice) to complete.

Love the flat twists! I just might have to jack that style lol. I have to practice my flat twisting skills especially since I'm in that twist challenge.

Re: SheeTacular's Hair Journey - Slide show!
ok!!! Update time. I didn't retwist last night I am still sporting flat twists and a puff with a twistout bang. My plans are to flat twist both sides and twist the middle. Hoping it develops into a nice frohawk for the weekend. I hope everyone is having a marvellous Monday.
Ladies lets all stop by and show BlakButterfli some love.

I need to practice period ... I wanted to do my front flat this week but got discouraged in trying to do them and the end result was regular ole two strand twists.
