I like the puff too!! And I'm feeling the name! Rogue is pretty dope and I think it's suiting for a head of natural hair

Looking at your relaxed pic and then the natural....it looks like they are years apart (in a good way). I had to glance at your age because I always assumed you were in your 20s. Your curls make you look years younger!

Ok here are the real pics of Today's hair. I put my hair into two ponytails because it's not long enough all the way around. I put a short vid on youtube also.

The brand of this puff is "Next" and it's color 2. I don't know the name of the puff. Anyways it was the last one they had and it was on display so I got it for $9.99. It's pretty soft for synthetic hair.

I didn't take my twists all the way down I just untwisted and smoothed the edges the middle is still twisted.

Thanks. It is all of that but when I asked to look at it I was expecting it to feel hard and coarse.

Thanks Tia!! I'm love it when people think I'm in my twenties. They are so surprised to see how close to 40 I am..lol. Thanking God and my parents for good genes. And the courage to go natural.

I prepooed today with olive and coconut oil and honey. Then Shampooed with Giovanni 50:50 and detangled with 50:50 conditioner detangled and rinsed.

sprayed on Aussie hair insurance leave in and put some Giovanni Direct in then put on Aussie Moist conditioner and coconut oil to twist.

I put in big raggedy twists to dry I will figure the rest out when I come from the gym.

Not much on the hair front. I rocked the Afro Puff Sunday and today. This is the last week of the Hide your hair Challenge so Sunday night I will be washing measuring and trimming if needed. I think I may try a WnG using the Eco Styler Custard or my VG and Eco Styler and using the Shingling method.

I am working on YT vids of the Install of the Phony Puff.

O I can't wait for the vids!!

I can't believe I forgot to tell you guys about my curls. After I detangle and rinsed out my condish saturday. I HAD CURLS. I honestly didn't think it would happen. My sister didn't share my excitement but she has curls up the wazoo...but anyways this is about me. I had ringlets. very small ringlets and they were clumpling. I detangled with the my fingers when I did the prepoo then used the shower comb and denman later. Yes I can't wait til it warms up so I can do wash and gos again with some curl definition and clumpage...lol

I took the twists down and dipped my ponytail holders in oil and put my ponytails in before I put my phony puff on today.

I'm tired of the puff now..lol so I may go back to twists to hide my hair for the remainder of the challenge.

I am thinking about seriously straightening my hair. I'm gonna do a lil research but I think I'm gonna do the roller set and saran wrap method. I know MC and a couple of youtubers have done this.

Anyways.

I did the same thing with my rubber bands. I got the idea from NikG. What do you think about it, think it makes a difference?

I'm not sure whose thread I read it under. It did go on easier. This was my first time trying it. I'll know better when I take them out.

What's your take on it?

I have rubber bands on my ends and it makes me nervous - even with the oil. I will be checking for breakage after taking them off, which might be today

Have you seen the little cloth covered ones those might be better. I didn't even know they made them. I think they are by goody and not all stores carry them. I know it will make me nervous you have a lot of work invested in your hair.

Can you keep a secret? I did a length check (not supposed to until March 1) but my stretched hair in the back reaches the base of my neck. I am so excited...
