Thanks hon but trust me week 1 was such a challenge, but it is getting much better. I don't think I would be this committed if I had to go to a gym, but with its much easier since the gym is location in one of the buildings where I work!

They never have Knot Today at the Wholefoods near me it's like it's off the shelves before the truck even comes in...it's been like that since I did my BC, you would think they'd up the inventory.

Really....hummmm since this KimmayTube Leave-in conditioner is getting so popular I better go and get me another bottle. You are the second person to say that you can't find the Knot Today at Wholefoods.

My protective style was just an impulse style that I tried this morning, and I'm so glad I did. Now if you do another pin up twist challenge I can participate!!! So special shout out to you and bholmes I have a lot of styles to pick from!!!

wow, now i need to try that bnb cond mask! i pretty much like anything i've purchased from there but bein as though i just got my last order a few wks ago, im gonna have to wait til next time to add it to my order . how much comes in the jar and did u use it all? esp since u so heavy handed, lol.

my little brother used eucerin like 15 yrs ago but when i had mason for his ezcema, the dr told me to use aquaphor. well its basically a thick glop of vaseline to the 10th power. Someone put me on to shea butter so i got a container from a muslium man on the corner in NY for $5. it definitely worked but its so hard n stiff. now i pretty much use it whipped to make it easier to apply. I also switched n bath him with black soap, burt bee's and a capful of dr. bronner's and his skin has made a drastic change. shoooot i use black soap for MY face n body now!

your twist definitely look fabo!! i wanted to do wng's for the summer but its turning into more protective. pretty much for the fall i KNOW im gonna get either kinky twist or braids for 2-3 months; so my product buying is about to get reaaaally limited esp wit my homebuying!!

Hey Nubie..make sure next time you get that mask..I'm telling you it is awesome.

I wish I had know about using shea butter when Xander was little...but believe it or not Lever soap has really helped. His pedi recommended it and I use it as well in the winter time only...I must have my oil and scents for the summer. You know!!!

Yeah...after my puff last week I'm going to try and work on perfecting my protective style skills...

Morning Curlies!!!

Health: Did the Women Circut this morning, and decided to do 30 minute on the Treadmill. So I headed to my locker to get my ear plugs and couldn't get the combination to work!! That threw my workout off....they had to cut my lock off!! The locks are provided by my job, and they have keys for situations like this. Well...the key didn't work either!!

I will try to make up time tomorrow when I do Zumba and something for my abs!!

Hair: Penny is still twisted...this protective style is simple and very easy!! Less time spent in the locker room!!! That I like...

For the twists I used Qhemet Heavy Cream and EcoStyler gel (the clear one) I really like how soft my hair is with Qhemet, and the EcoStyler gives just enough hold!!!

Hey Nyla...I'm so glad to see you and Ru Been missing you girl!!! I saw that you and Sweet hung out a couple of weeks ago...I wish I could have been there. I didn't call you when I came to Charlotte cause you were about 1 1/2 hrs away, and honey that trip with like National Lampoon Vacation.

We weren't any one place other than the convention center for longer than a minute!!!

KCKT is like gold round here. My sister and I almost cried last time we went to Whole Foods and it wasn't there... We went to a second Whole foods the next day!

I love Come Clean - it's really gentle for clarifier too.

I am going to make the Leave in now. Three days of W&G's and protein stylers made my hair VERY unhappy!

What's happening y'all?

I've been so busy, and the people in my department are really getting on my nerves!! If one more person ask me for something I'm going to crack-up... I wonder why grown people act like babies sometimes. I mean I'm only one person..so I guess I'm suppose to correct time for almost 200 people, hunt people down and find out why they didn't badge in or out, and then of all things....okay **sigh** I'll get a grip cause I really love my job, and my co-workers. I guess I'm having moment and here why...


First...I go to the fitness center this morning for Zumba and guess what? The instructor quit and the class has now been replaced with Kickboxing Cardio!! I was like Wednesday, Thursday, Friday!!! I wanted to do Zumba, so of course my mind was closed to the instructor and the class!! I stayed and it took me about 15 minutes to get myself together, and guess what? I ENJOYED THE CLASS. It was intense and did I sweat!!! Like a The instructor's name was Roz and she rocked that class!! When we were done I could barely walk to the locker room!!

Now to the real problem....Penny!!! I want to co-wash my hair sooo bad, and I don't really have a reason to. (so I guess the problem is really me not Penny) Penny is looking good, my twist out bangs are moist...I just want to shampoo I guess out of habit!! So I'm going to go home, and make myself clean up or do anything other than co-wash!! I wonder why I have the urge to co-wash? Do y'all think I'm addicted to co-washing? ROTFLMAO...

Well that's all for now...I really like this protective style; its not real neat but it is growing on me everyday. I'll post pictures of today's hair which would be day 3 WOW!!! I hope I can make it to day 7!!! Wish me luck y'all~
