is pretty easy. I don't know how to french braid so this is my
alternative. I think that traveljunkie has convinced me to do a
tutorial. I'm gonna have to practice first though!

So over the weekend, you know I tried the Aubrey's Honesuckle Rose conditioner and fell in love. Well I am happy to report that it definitely was not a one night stand! This stuff does wonders for my hair and I think it has a lot to do with my leave in of HH Hello Hydration as well as the coconut oil. I am really impressed at how one treatment seemed to make my hair so much more healthier after years of using the drying shampoos and not taking perfect care of my hair. My hair came out really soft and the new pattern gave it a different feel more so than look (although it is a bit chunkier in the front - not sure if I like it yet). I think I like my hair big and so I think twisting my hair when its wet gives it the definition that I need. I will be retwsiting my hair tonight with a spritz that I made of: green tea, HH Hello Hydration, and coconut oil. I'm experimenting with the teas. I said what the hell, if its good for us to drink, I wonder what it will do to my hair. I will let you guys know the result tomorrow. Here is a pic of the hair style today.

Girl I was still sleep (sitting in my office)!!! My coworker said "girl I LOVE your hair like that" gave me a big of a boost!

Mentor you are a constant inspiration. I wasn't too crazy about this hair style...think Im gonna put it up tomorrow. I need to buy a scarf to time my hair down before I do the puff though!

Hey Ladies!

Sorry it took me so long to join in today..it was an early start and a LONG day at work!. So let me tell you about my accident/laziness discovery from last night. I came in from work and I was super tired. However, of course the first thing I did was come and log on to talk to you guys. I wrapped my hair in my bonnet to take a quick shower;having every intention on retwising my hair before I went to bed. Well you know that I really wasn't feeling my hair yesterday, so the ANTMish photoshoot was not an option. Well ladies the alter ego hair voice is back!!! (I really do need to name here - LOL -im taking suggestions too!)

While I had every intention on wrapping my hair it definitely did not happen. I woke up in a panic this morning knowing that my hair was matted to my head. I went to the bathroom and took off the bonnet and guess what happened? My curls bounced right back at me! I was super excited about it. I took my home made spritz and gave it a few squirts, gave my hair a fluff and a shake and then she spoke to me! LOL Even though my hair was big I was kind of digging the "worn" look it had to it! It was like a true curly and soft fro. I definitely plan on repeating the accident/lazy moment tonight to see if I can get luck again. I will rub some coconut through my hair tonight though and especially on my ends. I am excited to do my hair in the morning because I will do the 4 day old half up do twist out again, but instead of it being spirally it will be a bit poofy and I am excited to see the results. Wish me luck guys. In the meantime, check out (insert name her) speak to me!

Hey Ladies,

So I repeated my lazy accident yesterday which resulted in a more poofy updo for the four day old twist out. I am happy with how it turned out and I even got a few compliments from coworkers. One of my friends who works at the University with me says "I love your hair like that and I love the fact that it is yours/real!" LOL Check me out!
