VMichelle AKA My Natural Me
Hello Yall
So you know from my older post that I have been MIA and focusing on My Natural Me blog, but since my Soror Lynne convinced me to come back I figured I would update you all on my hair progress (styles, regimens and all). Below you will find pics on my attempt at small box braids. It is my very first time trying them, but I like the style! I will keep them in for at least a month and wear them differently days at a time. Here they are. Hope you like them!

Yay!!! I'm glad you back!! I love your braids! How long did that take? I wish I could keep a style 2 weeks....I guess braids have more lasting power than twist. You're not scared their gonna lock up?
Anyhoo, Glad your back!!

Hey poetic...I'm not sure yet. I saw a few pictures of styles with mini braid outs so it may just be!

Hey Soror! It took me 6 hours. I will watch them to make sure that they
won't lock up but I don't think they will Milan from AGrlCanMac gave me
the idea of wearing it in for about a month from her twist challenge.

Box Braids Stylin!
So I decided to try and style my box braids for a second time. I did
one style with them straight back, but that wasn't too exciting. I
opted for a better cute style of pining up one style. This is the
starting the second week of me having them. I washed them Sunday
evening and definitely made them look more fresh. I didn't have much
frizz because I plopped them with a t-shirt after I got out of the
shower! I think the next style I do will involve accessories...maybe a
big cute flower on the side!

Box Braids Final Update
Hello Chicas!
So I finally decided to take my box braids down after three weeks of wearing them. I wanted to go the entire four weeks, but I need to let my hair free! I am now wearing a twist out and have noticed that it is definitely time for a trim and shape up. I will be going to the shop for this. I will be certain to come back and show you ladies the results, but in the meantime, here are the pics of my box braids. Check out the post on my blog at http://mynaturalme.blogspot.com/2010/06/last-of-box-braids.html
Here are a few sneak peeks
