Hey ladies so I have been so crazy with work I haven't been able to log on and chat on your threads. Come to find out during my absense, I won the BnB challenge. YAAAAAAY...Im sooooo excited. No problem! I will upload the video to the blog..I was trying to get over my camera shyness. LOL..As soon as I get time, I will upload it form my camera. In the meantime my prepoo treatment consisted of:
VO5 moisturizing conditioner -fresia scent
EVOO
Coconut Oil
Africa Best Herbal Oils
I blended all of the ingredients in my food processor to get the result of a white fluffy paste and put it in my hair in sections. I wanted to do heat, but decided to opt out to see what the results would be. I let it sit on my hair for a hour and then rinsed it out with cool water. I finished it off by adding some HH Hello Hydration for my leave in., I noticed that when I went to style that I had a little to much conditioner left in my head because it turned out white so I rinsed it out with cool water. and then sealed with coconut oil. Still waiting on my Shea Butter in the mail. I am still trying to find something to make my curls pop. Maybe some kind of home made treatment will do the trick. If you ladies have any ideas, please let me know!

2nd try at 2strand twist out!

Hey Ladies,
It has been a truly CRAZY week for me at work. I have been meaning to update you on the weekend hair style that I'm wearing now. This is the second attempt at the frohawk twist, but I am wearing it as a protective style right now. I prepoo'd my hair this weekend with the regimen and ingredients posted above and used my spritz of green tea, HH Hello Hydration and coconut oil as I twisted. I must admit that I have found a staple routine for my regimen. My hair loves the prepoo method. It left my hair so soft and shiny. I must admit though that I have to watch the amount of product I put in my hair with this though because when I added my leave-in my hair was a little white. I also noticed that my scalp still had product in it so I need to do a better job at washing it out. I think I will also try to shampoo my hair this weekend to see the results of shampoo and DC. Here the are results of my frohawk. They have been in since Saturday. I will post a pic of how they look after a few days on Friday to see if I can stretch them out. The satin bonnet is my FRIEND! LOL
