I like Curls, not totally in love though. It does what it says, and if it were offered in Sally's, Walmart, or Target I'd buy it frequently. But I've found I can get the same curl definition with other, less expensive products. I just won this week's BnB giveaway (yay!) and my fro-hawk was done with curls....

Hey Ladies!

Its been WHILE!!!! I miss all of you, but work has been busy..anyway..last week I rocked the fro because I was too lazy to do the up do. Because I had to go to a wedding this weekend, I was left with no choice, but to get it together and start the 2.5 hour project. I really like the outcome. I did small two strand twist in the front and sides and twisted the back into three large twists..securing them in Bantu knots. Below you will find pics. Later today, I think I am going to finish the back in small twists. I will let you know how it turns out. Proud of myself for the firs try. Oh and you KNOW Mikele came out during the photo opps right! LOL

I am doing a twist challenge too. It's the one MahoganyCurls is doing. She is doing it for 4 months. I am only gonna do it for a month and then reevaluate the situation. LOL!!

Thanks Lynn...Girl Yes!...its the powershot is the truth. I love it! Four Months? ooooh ummm yeah Im struggling with 2.5 but I know it will be better for my hair because wearing it out is making my hair as dry as a Brillo pad! LOL

Hey ladies

It been a while since my last update and I miss you guys TONS!!! My hair is still in the mini twists from last week and I am still doing the challenge with Milan. Sunday will be my DT and retwist day. Im proud that my hair has lasted this long. I have to curn the front with perm rods at time because of the still limp curl definition from heat damage, but the results are still good. Mikele hasn't been acting up yet, but as soon as I get time, my diva personality will be back in action. Watch out CKF Mandy will have a friend soon! LOL

I co-washed my twists last weekend and plopped to eliminate some frizz. It pretty frizzy right now but I like the worn look of if it. surprisingly I didn't have to many twist to come unraveled maybe one or two in the back. I'm going out of town again for a facilitation gig in Connecticut so I will co-wash again in the morning and pull the front back with a headband. I tried this today just to get them off of my forehead and it was cute, so I will see how that turns out. Im also oging to try to gather a few in the front and don some twist to it. If I like the outcome of this, I may do a little bit more styling with my twists during the next set. I will posts pics to show you the pull back twists in the AM.
