I cant wait to see the twist out!

And I couldnt wear a twist out today because its soo windy so I have a curly ponytail. Although this is what it looks like out of the ponytail:

I'm pleased with the results. And that Avocado butter I'm using continues to be marvelous for moisture!

Your hair is so thick!!

So I'm annoyed because it's so cold and windy. I took out my twists, but I wanted to play in my hair for a bit before I re-did them but I've been forced to just pull it back in a ponytail and wear a hat. Although I've been trying to maintain a "curly" ponytail, because I like the super-defined curls being pulled back. So last night I did a quick bnc, using HHTT and EVCO and Set it free on the ends:



I like the curls of my ponytail. I will try to take a pic later where you can actually see the difference in good lighting...

ok I am late but I love the twist out AND I agree with the others your hair is soooo thick and pretty!!! I know the BNC is cute to death!

So I'm home today and have decided to do my hair routine. I want to put my hair back in twists this weekend, but i like to do them on 95% dry and stretched hair. So to prepare for that I am going to do the following:

- AVC rinse
- Deep condition with the Avocado Butter mixed with EVOO for an hr (plus)
- Co-wash with TOtally Twisted....leave some of it in
- Divide my wet hair into sections, add more TT and braid....add SIF to each braid
-Let it air dry and take down tomorrow

I'll probably wear my hair like this for a couple of days (hoping that theres no harsh winds or frigid temps to where I'd have to hide it) and i'll probably twist my hair on Saturday. I'm thinking of trying this routine for a while because I can mostly keep it in protective style and play in my hair, using minimal product...don't have much in my budget to really buy hair stuff right now.

So I did exactly what I said I was going to do with my hair except that I spontaneously decided to add EVOO and AOHSR to my Avocado butter. It was a smooth green consistency and very nice for my hair. I left it on for about an hour with heat and it rinsed out very nicely. I'm still dealing with DC issues because I have yet to find one I LOVE. AOHSR is thick and I like it but I don't LOVE it.

Anyway, my hair pretty much looks like how it does when I used to do wash-n-gos over the summer, I took a "texture" shot so you can see what I mean:



I'm wearing my hair out today because its not as frigid and windy. I just have bobby pins to pin my bangs back.

Good texture shot. Do you have color in your hair? or is that henna?

no, they are hi-lights that I am trying to get rid of. I liked the color, but I'm at a phase of where I want my shiny dark hair back, like your puff =]

I sorta liked it, and if the weather wasn't so cold, I would totally put a headband on and sport it but alas, I'm putting my hair back in twists to protect it!

I like it too! It's wild, big, and beautiful!!! That's a great combination!

P.S. i also had the same results with AOHSR....maybe it's because i've heard so much about it, but i just expected MORE.

So on dry, stretched hair I put my twists in, this time a little differently. I took some pics to illustrate my process (using EVCO and Burts Bees Avocado Butter)
