Hey Diva...have you tried a DT yet? Does she feel brittle or is the moisture just not staying in?

Your makeup looks so good. The cut brings out your eyes and full lips--absolutely freakin' gorgeous you are.

If your hair is dry, please be careful with protein. Have you done a protein treatment before when experiencing dry hair. A humectant (honey, glycerin, agave nectar, black strap molasses) may help. You could add some to a moisturizing conditioner and let it sit for 30 minutes. Sweetdrk1 did something similar after getting too much protein. Her hair became much better.

Hoping for moisturized hair sooner than later.

Me & Mandy - Page 14 Icon_redface Me & Mandy - Page 14 Icon_redface Me & Mandy - Page 14 Icon_wink oh chrs!! u are the sweetest...! ok oh no! i do protein like once a month...but I have never while experiencing dry hair like this! Me & Mandy - Page 14 Icon_sad ...

Im scared now...but since u said humectant...before i read this I threw some KBB hair milk in my hair before i went out with my fam and it is MUCH better!

ok so is it safe to say to do something with a humectant when hair is really dry and use protein when u already have that good moisture balance in it?? Me & Mandy - Page 14 Confused

Damn Chrs u are sooooo freakin knowledgable!

A moisturizing product with a humectant can definitely get your hair back to its pre-dry state. If your hair is medium in texture, you can rotate moisture and protein. For instance, protein treatment one week then moisture treatment next. By treatment I mean DC. You can figure out your texture by feeling strands in different areas of your hair. If it feels barely there, you have fine hair. If it feels thick, like a piece of thread, you have thick hair. If it is neither, you have medium hair. Fine hair benefits for regular protein (stylers, etc.). Coarse hair benefits from moisture, they have to use protein sparingly.

@chrs..i used KBB and it did bring the moisture back! i usually do a protein treatment like once a month..or rotate and i havent had anything but good results..but thank for that warning...i think if i hadve used protein right away i would have done damage

@intelligent... Me & Mandy - Page 14 Icon_redface YIKES!! Ive been wanting to be fierce sexy for a long time!! thanks girl! hehe.. Me & Mandy - Page 14 Icon_redface
