traveljunkie08 wrote:I don't want to discourage you. You should still try it. Your experience may be totally different. Consider getting the set of four butters. That way you can try most of her butters and the curly custard, and if you don't like it you're not stuck with a full size. If you like it, you can order larger sizes during a sale to save $$.
I would also suggestthe sample set of four butters as well. I found that my hair loves curly pudding & totally twisted almond...the cocolatte was ok for my & the shea amla was too heavy & dense for my hair. I will def repurchase the first 2 butters!!!
If ur iffy about purchasing it try looking around for it in a product swap. I was really iffy about the heavy alma cream by qhemetics I didnt want to purchase something without trying it first so I swapped for it & im glad I did because I found that it was also too heavy for my hair. Soo Good Luck update us if you make a decision!!! oh by the way if there's not a lot products for swap here at the moment try here:http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/forumdisplay.php?f=11

Mandy's Mood:
I tell ya that chic is happy right now! Today I co washed her with Hello Hydration...ok i used this product only once before...I liked the results but wasnt sure why i didnt keep using.....so today i co washed with her...did a final rinse with cool water ...So i used HH Hydration and V05as a leave in...
we will see what happens tom but tonight she was soooo pleased and my hair clumped so well....i wanted my hair to look like maybe 3 day old twist (bc i loved my hair when it got old with the coils) and I know im gonna wash again on sunday so i just twisted with shea and coconut oil...
results tom....

Re: Me & Mandy
ok! Today Mandy was on point! lol...
I tried a little experiment lastnite...cowashing with HH Hello Hydration and using that and V05 as a leave in...
I used shea and coconut oil on my twist nothing with hold bc i wanted a "curly afro"
The results came out great!!! I forgot my camera so I have to take some pics but I just find it so amazing to figure out different ways to style my hair.
I went to a family dinner and my family LOVED my hair! Pics later curlies

Re: Me & Mandy
Happy Holidays!
Gosh its been keeping me extra busy...but here is an update on mandy..
She is becoming a Wild Child! I mean she does WHATEVER SHE WANTS! Ok i revisited HH Hello Hydration...and it is the freakin bomb!
Ive also incorporated a new Deep Condish routine...I condish with Avocado, mayo, and olive oil..And my hair was so moisturized after that!
I left HH Hydration and V05 moisture milk as a leave in and went back to my old boo Cantu to do my twist...applying a little to the section I wanted to twist....The results were very nice! this is like second dair hair ...
front view..
But thats a brief update...happy holidays

Re: Me & Mandy
I do have one. I'm bad about updating it so Im sure I'll never win. Adiaha's BNB Thread
I typically update when I have new hairstyles or with hair questions. Not like a daily journal or anything. Anyway I will definitely let you know my results, whenever this twist out gets old. How long does your twist out usually last?

Ok...im gonna head on over! I usually do twist outs....and I can make it last for almost 2 weeks but i wash my hair every week...so thats the reason for their short stay!
