@CKF: Wouldn't the Suave remove the gel from your hair? I *think* that's one of the reasons Eco Styler is considered CG friendly but I'm not 100% sure. Maybe your hair is changing as it grows out and has more moisture in it? Curious to know what happens next time you co-wash. And can't wait to see pics of this new hair cut!!!

Ok so run down on the pic above..

She is a part of the Janet wig collection..I think it was the afro wig...it is a full piece with the comb in the front and the back..i styled it by pulling some of my hair out in the front and it blended right in! Yay for the curlies!!

So i have been playing with the idea of shaping Mandy...I tried this technique using a wash n go..and stretched the front of my hair out and kept the back tight...trying to give it the tapered look..





I used Aussie Moist as a leave in for the wash n go and that was a big NO NO! my hair was terrible and had the white balls! The kind that ppl say Cantu shea butter leaves...


I loved the technique but im not so crazy about the results...When i perfect it im going to give more updates..

But so after doing that...I was thinking "ok i might as well just cut it to shape it this way"...so thats im going to the barber shop tom!!

Product Discovery:

I freakin Suave Naturals and castor oil (when hair is wet)
I rubbed suave in with the castor oil and my hair clumped so well! Oh yea! I also love HH Hydration more than ever! I mean Aussie Moist is cool but HH is my BFF!!!

Ok so i cut mandy today...Its so much i want to say...so lets start with the cut...

So before I get to the pics of the cut my experience at the barber shop was interesting to say the least...

So Uncle Mo cut my hair..(what a cutie) ..so I made the big mistake of not combing my hair out before getting there so he had to pick it out and it hurt like HELLLL....

Anywho...so i told him what i wanted ;which was lower on the side and back ..I wanted the longest section at the front ( I know that I had bangs so the front was the shortest portion of my hair).and i didnt really want a shape up (my brother told me to get one though)

Ok so he cut it a bit too low on the sides and going towards the back but maybe it had to be done that way for the look bc of the length of the top

He gave me a shape up around my hair line too..so here is a pic of my hair right after the barber visit with it all pickd out\




So i got home and did a co wash and a quick deep condish...NOW THIS IS THE BAD PART...MY HAIR IS DRY LIKE WHEN I DID MY BC! NOOOOOOOO!

So Im up here trying to make it soft again! but i have it prepped for the style im wearing tom and will add more pics then....

The reason I cut my hair is bc I did not like the shape of my TWA..I am shooting for length, but i have always been the type to forgo length for a few moments (months) for the shape of my hair...i will trim my hair accordingly to how i want my hair shape...and will prob do so throughout my journey..even when i have a BAA.

So i figured what better time to cut my hair while its still short!!

Now its back to the drawing board for moisture Im so sorry Mandy love u

Love the cut! It's snazzy! You are right, it's best to cut your hair while it's already short! Hope Mandy finds some moisture soon.
