Thanks you! LOL, I was aiming for a bun but it ended up being a puff. Hair was doing its own thang

Good Morning Curly Divas,

Friday I went to JC Penney because I was out of one of my products. Which by the way they have $10 off $35 hair product purchase. I picked up Wave By Design. Although I co-wash as for other products I just use whatever works on my hair. Too many heavy oils will straight piss my hair off. Anyway the cashier was looking at me VERY puzzled. She finally asked if I was a natural and I told her yes. She was like wow I would've never known because your hair isn't that nappy. I just laughed at her. The Wave By Design is supposed to define the curly/wavy hairstyle as well as add shine. I must admit I'm very pleased with my shine I have going on. I put the product all over my hair prior to rolling it. It was used as my sealant and this is what I got. I pulled curls out even more but my hair is curlier than normal and shiny but not greasy feeling at all

Goodmorning,

I was running late so I wasn't able to snap pictures this morning before coming to the office. last night I was buried very deep in cakes. I really don't like making small cakes and a guy wanted a 6 inch cake with strawberry filling and cream cheese icing. YES a lot going on for a teeny weeny cake. Let me tell you it kicked my butt. I had to be so careful when putting the filling in there because the layers were so small and I'm HEAVY handed.

Ok so onto hair news. The Wave By Design for me is going to be a keep but I think it is going to be more of a summer product. My hair is SO curly. I try to pull the curls out and they curl back up. I love it though but like I said it will be a summer staple

Goodmorning Curly Divas,

It's been an extremely busy week for me and I haven't been taking daily hair pics. I still have to go home and bake when I get off work today. Also tonight since I will be running short of time, I'm just going to co-wash and roller set my hair. I'm not sure what it's going to look like so stay tuned.....................................

I'm transitioning and your rod set looks fabulous. Do you use paper ends when rolling? When I was relaxed my signature look was a roller set - I've bunned 99% of my 1 year transitioning, maybe I'll try this rod set for Xmas holiday. I like you hair at this length as well.

Thanks for the compliment! I do not use the end paper when i roll my hair. No particular reason I just always get side tracked when I'm at the beauty supply store. Rod setting has always been my go to style because It's super low maintenance and I love it

Good morning Curly Divas,

It seems like forever since I really posted hair pictures. I didn't do my rollerset the other day because my time management skills were poor. My curls were still in tact for Thanksgiving Day so I pulled my hair into a pony tail. It was super cute and I forgot to take a picture of that. On Sunday, I pre-poo'd with Ojon Restorative Treatment and followed my normal routine. I did managed to snap a photo of curls before pulling them apart. I did take pictures of hair today, I will download and post when I get home this evening. Have a great day ladies!!!

I have a really good excuse as to why I've been neglecting my hair. I was SOOOO busy last week with baking and getting ready for Thanksgiving. See below:

Oh my...those cakes and cookies look delicious!

I really want your curls! I can't wait til my edges are back in full effect. I just finished posting in my thread about wanting to do a rollerset but I would hate to put all that time in and not like it because of my edges so I will wait it out. Smile

Hey chick! Thanks! You should go ahead and try the rollerset and manipulate the hair to cover your edges.

I just took out two rollers that I put in less than an hour ago and the curls came out so nice. I just put a little conditioner on them to see how they would come out. The hair actually did lay over my edges...well at least on the right side. I didn't do the left. I might give the rollers a go tomorrow when my hunny is home so he can keep baby occupied. Smile

So I did 2 things today. I made an Italian Cream Cake with toasted pecans and I attempted a wash 'n go.In the world of cake I was successful, and as for the wash 'n go I'm going to let that go until the summer. I have extremely tight spirals and I think when my hair gets longer it will look better. I will be sticking to the rod sets until I get more length. So tonight I will be washing my wall where I splattered icing

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy!!! I cleaned out my hair products/supplies cabinet. I threw a lot of items away. My New Years resolution is to no longer be a product junkie. I really wish I could get down to about 5 hair products. I'm proud of myself for downsizing to the products I have now. I'm tooting my own horn because this is some major progress!!! Booyahs
