Hey Curly Divas,

I co-washed my hair tonight. I used the following products

-Giovanni Direct Smooth as Silk
-Paul Mitchell The Detangler
-Design Essentials Stimulations Moisturizing Conditioner
-Mixed Chicks leave-in
-Alter Ego sealing serum
-Setting lotion/leave in concoction

This will be my regimen until my hair tells me it wants something different

Your roller sets really do look professional - I'm no slouch (at least I wasn't when it was long) but yours are to die for. Do you have one of those mirrors on the arm in the bathroom so you can see the back?

Ok NMoultry, I took the plunge on the Curlformers, I ended up buying the set and some additional packages as well...even with the 20% off coupon, I still payed an arm and a leg! Here's what I ended up with (set included):

40 Long & Wide
16 Short & Wide
64 Long & Narrow
40 Short & Narrow

My logic is that I'll be able to do two different types of sets: Skinny curls and fat curls (and I guess combination curls too, lol). I based my purchase on the fact that you use about 100 curlformers to complete your curl set. I'll let you know how they work out when I receive it! I pray that I didn't buy too many or too few! I imagine they'll be shipped within the next week or two.

Thanks so much for answering my curlformer questions with such detailed responses...it really helped me in making my purchase.

LOL, No I don't have one of those mirrors. I tend to just use a ton of rollers in the back because I can't see back there. I think the fact that I part my hair into 4 sections and roll section by section helps

Cool! I don't think you bought too many. Like I said most of my rollers are in the back because I can't see back there. I think I have about 150 curlformers and I use most of them with each set. when are you going to try the set?

You all go! No way can I sit and put 100+ curlformers in my hair. I am way too lazy for that. I barely want to roller set my hair. nmoultry hair journey - Page 10 Icon_silent

Well...I just ordered them last night online so I have to wait on the shipping.I'm thinking that I'll try them out the second weekend in January (8th-10th) since that's my monthly "wear my hair" weekend. Let's pray they ship them in time!
