Beautiful bun and twist out results!

Please let me know if you plan to attend DC Curly Meet up. We will give away samples from Koils by Nature and another hair care line. In case, there are not enough samples I was going to place those planning to attend's names in a computer system to randomly select those who will get the samples.

I notice my hair does not take long to dry once I clarify. It would take about three hours to dry as opposed to a day and a half. I have a lot of hair so that is a good thing. HTH

thanks chrslvsbks, i really want to come, but im trying to find out if this cookout in MD the hubby and I are supposed to be going to is actually happening...we had a friend just move up here and there may be a house warming type deal, so im gonna find that out by the end of the day and I will DEFINITELY let you know if i can make it

Sooo I still have this bun in my hair, and Im still TOTALLY missing my HIH syndrome LOL. I got confirmation last night that Im going to the DC Natural hair meetup saturday so im super excited about that!!! Now I have to figure out what Im gonna do with my hair...Im thinking about flat twisting the front and doing some two strand twists in the back, so I can take it out saturday for a cute twist out maybe....IDK

Hey BSD! I love your twist outs and the styles you're doing. I've been contemplating trying to pin back one side and you did yours in a way that I liked. I don't have your length yet, but I think I might be able to pull it off! Maybe!

^^^thanks hon!!! I suggest definitely playing around with your hair and you may find out that you can pin it a certain kinda way with your length...i honestly, just play around with my hair and find lots of different styles to do with it....HTH

So im sitting here with my hair in big two strand twists with conditoner in it....i detangled in the shower and now im trying to get my arms ready for two strand twisting. I hope it turns out cute for the weekend...I think my hair has a mind of its own..lol....so i plan on taking pics tomorrow before i head to the natural hair gathering...did i mention how excited i am?? woot woot

Good Morning Curlies!!

So let me tell you about my weekend...I got up saturday ran a few errands with the hubby and got all prepared for the curly meetup in DC...

SN: I did a new style friday night before the meetup, which happens to look just like my last twistout results lol (well if it works keep doing it I guess)

I did 6 flat twists in the front with satin rollers on the ends and later i put two strand twists in the back and set under a bonnet dryer for about an hour and a half



which produced these results





So I had my hair all done up, and my natural hair tee on and I was ready to make my trek up to DC. So my GPS told me it would take about an hour and a half cuz i live a little bit north of Richmond so I knew that it wasnt a hop skip and a jump....Im driving on 95 and I got sooo lost, my gps froze and by the time i got to baltimore i realized I was lost (i have a bad sense of direction, i can admit lol)....so I started getting frazzled and tried to reset my phone and my gps app just completely stopped working period! By the time I figured out where I was I was already just pissed off that I had gotten lost and sat in so much wonderful traffic *sarcasm*

So I was very disappointed that I missed the curly meetup cuz I wanted to see everyone and get some products But I know you curlies had fun, and thats awesome

I did have a great sunday though, we went to early morning service, then to the gym, and chilled for the rest of the day....
