Hey BSD...

Girl you have had some growth!!! So how do you do a wng puff? Are you just using conditioner?

So...and I'm scared to ask; how is the workout coming along? Don't tell me you've lost 10 lbs. I'm going to be so green with love...LOL

Just stopping by to see how you are doing...

Heyyy sis!!! dance

Thanks Smile I do my wash n go puff by leaving some HE hydralicious conditioner on it, I know CurlyNikki uses it as a leave in, and it works pretty well for me too.

The workout is going okay, I lost 3 lbs a few weeks ago, then gained them back from eating out of control during my friends wedding weekend BUT I have a weigh in coming up this friday so we shall see!! I will definitely keep you informed

Thanks for stopping by Smile

Morning Ladies,

So Im at work and I took my hair out of my two strand twists from last night. I tried the Kimmaytube Leave In Recipe and made a few modifications. I washed my hair with some aussie moist conditioner and sectioned my hair in 4 sections. For my Leave In I used:

Giovanni Direct Leave In
Jojoba Oil
Aloe Vera Juice
Sweet Almond Oil
and a cap full of olive oil

I used all the same measurements Kim uses in her video.

I applied the leave in to smaller sections of my hair and twisted. I ended up with about ten two strand twists and I put two flat twist rows in the front going across for my bangs. (I will try to post pics soon or to my fotki).

I took my twists out this morning and put my hair into a puff.

Its about 80-85% dry now and my hair looks moisturized and feels awesome. In Kims recipe she uses Castor Oil, but I didnt have any so I substituted the EVOO and Sweet Almond, but I will try Castor oil when I run out of this supply of Leave In. I still have enough product for another application.

Overall, I give the leave in recipe two thumbs up. The products that are used really help seal in moisture and keep your hair protected. I suggest you all check out the video (^^^ its a few posts up) and try the recipe...you may have to modify with different oils, but the basic concept is awesome....

Hope you all enjoy!

Have an awesome tuesday Smile

Okay ladies,

FINAL VERDICT ON THE LEAVE IN

My hair is completely dry now and i LOVE the leave in!! It has left my hair so soft and moisturized. I actually prefer it over my shea butter mix, because they shea butter was REALLY heavy on my hair and weighed it down. This leave in mix is great because it gives you the oils that you need to seal and it leaves your hair still very light!!

I suggest everyone try it out Smile

Hey Sis...

I use Kimmaytube's leave-in and let me tell you I just love that stuff, Now I need to buy stock in Kinky Curly cause I have to keep an extra bottle of KCKT conditioner on hand. I just love how it makes my hair feels. I use the same ingredients that Kimmay uses in her video!! I love the way my hair feels as well!!!

Glad you had great results.
