Did them on wet hair - pic on the right. I like them on dry hair with no parts to be honest!! Oh well!

Man, Chrs...that fro...YOU DID THE DAMN THANG! LOL

I haven't tried bantu knots, but I've found that braid outs ARE NOT for me! I tried, I wanted fluffy hair so bad, but alas, it is not for me! :-) I looked like Side Show Bob (Nyla or Sweet, please help me with a pic in case folks don't know of whom I'm speaking...LOL)! And that was NOT the bizness! So twists, twist outs, and WnGs for me until I hit a new growth level. Why continue to play with myself? LMAO

I like both twist results Nyla! I do see the differences though.

As for wet & dry styling, I'm finding dry to work pretty well for that "full" look. Heck, that'll probably change once the hair grows... ;-)

here are my twist, I did wet too Nyla. I made a version of Kimmaytubes leave in conditioner. My hair is so shiny, soft and bouncy!

I will probably try the bantu knots again while I am off. I want to do the braids too!

LOL Nyla I forgot about that. Yes I used Knot Today and Giovanni direct leave is. I had a little of both left. I didn't have all those oils so I used EVOO and my Pooka Hair nectar!! Sasha love it!

Sweet...I was gonna ask what did you use for your leave-in mix, but now I see. I may have to try the Giovanni Leave-in...everyone seems to love it. Hmmmmm!

Hair is holding up well. I tell ya, that EcoCustard has really made the difference for me and my styling. I'm thankful I have the ingredients in my cabinet and don't have to spend extra money, plus shipping and handling for my twists to look good! Whew...that's a load off my mind & pocketbook! Hi ladies & welcome netta!

I kept it simple today ladies. I rinsed hair this am then applied Curl Junkie Curl Assurance Daily Conditioner (love the smell). I left it in for a few minutes then rinsed with cool water. I then squeezed out excess water and applied aloe vera gelly (Lily of the Desert brand) and grapeseed oil. I applied a little Oyin Burnt Sugar pomade to my edges and ends of hair. Before leaving the house, I put on a scarf to lay down edges and used my flour sack to get out more water. Here are a couple of pictures of hair now (about four hours later).
