Re: How are you wearing your hair today?
I am wearing a braid out today!!!
Next time I am going to try a braid and curl.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I co-washed with V05 Moisture Milks in Champagne Kiss, mixed with Hello Hydration (I only had a little HH left). I keep it soaking wet, then I heat up some shea butter and coconut oil in the microwave. I mix that with some conditioner (I used Totally Twisted) and put a decent amount on my hair (like 1/2 cup). I run that through with the Denman, then I do small braids all over my head. I seal each braid with shea butter and twirl the ends around my fingers with more shea butter. I usually have about seven braids. I let them dry overnight (it takes about 10 hours), then I remove them and fluff.

I am wearing my hair just like this...
Last night I was in NEED of a DC so I used Mixed Chicks DC then I rinsed. I use Tresseme Pro Moisturizing Condish with Viatimin E. Left that in over night with Hydroveil Creme. I slept in a plastic cap and scarf. I woke up this morning rinsed and left. LOL...
My hair like Cones... for now at least. my curls are rather defined and soft and i DO NOT use gel... my hair HATES gel.

Twist n Curl, which NEVER comes out right for me, dont know why!!! Anywho I just washed, with my shampoo bar from Lush, deep conditioned with Garnier Fructise and Suave Humectant, rinsed and added a little more SH to leave in with some Olice oil, unrefined coconut oil and jojoba oil.

Re: How are you wearing your hair today?
Ok ladies, I have no idea what i am doing with my hair and played around with different styles this morning and was most comfortable in this one. You know how you get a new hair style or hair cut, (I'm sure you all know how that is) but yet your not feeling it? It's almost like it has to grow on me. I don't know but none of the styles made me feel secure ya know. This transition stuff blows, but that's what i get for putting that poison in my hair trying to be everything I wasn't. Pray for my yal...lol!

I washed my hair with Garnier Fructis Shampoo & left in the Sleek & Shine conditioner. I let my hair air dry then I sectioned it into my Bantu Knots and sealed the ends with coconut oil and took them down this morning.

I'm home today with what I hope is a cold [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
TMI, but I've only gotten out the bed to rummage for food, and use the bathroom. I feel like a bum. But despite the night sweats and general crummy feeling, my hair (from the Deva care+Samy) experiment, is still holding up:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I slept with it out again, on a satin pillow case. I'll be re-doing it tomorrow for this weekend's festivities.
loveself247, I'm loving that set!!!! The updo is on point [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

1st ever Bantu knots
[img]https://curlynikki.forumotion.com/[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img]
I treated my hair with 1st silk elements moisturizing treatment and then cowashed with HE totally Twisted last night. I started to just twist my hair for a twistout in the morning but it kinda turned into some bantu knots. I went to bed with a silk bonnet on. This morning I liked how the knots looked for the 1st time ever doing them so I kept them in.
- while twisting used shea butter and olive oil moisturizing hair lotion
HOW'D I DO FOR THE 1ST TIME???

Today I wore my hair in my version of a Cinnabon (inspired by Curly November Challenge) My hair isnt even shoulder length so I had to get creative.
I sprayed my scalp and hair with my first special concoction (Garnier Sleek and Shine Leave In, Water, Lavender Oil, Tea Tree Oil). I pinned my hair up in a circle. Then pinned the rest of my hair as shown in the video. Then I put a hand band around the bun and pinned it in place. To top it off, I tied a ribbon into a bow and pinned the bow down in the front. In other words, lots and lots of pins! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: How are you wearing your hair today?
Yes I tried. I co-washed with HH, twisted while dripping wet, sealed ends with mango butter, and used the pink rollers on the end. I got up late so I was in a rush when I was taking them apart.

Pony puff from yesterday's braidout.
I did nothing at all to it cause I was sick, just put on the head band when I woke up.
I did smooth the edges down with shea butter before I went to bed.

I like shea better but I LOVE the smell of the mango. Plus the shea has many uses.
Re: How are you wearing your hair today?
I did a co-wash this morning and now I have a huge puff. Since it's cold I drove to work with the heat on "hell." It was dry by the time I parked.

You're too cute! I love your uniform too . Naturals are taking over!
Re: How are you wearing your hair today?
Succinctlyso I loved when my hair was this length. I would co-wash everyday and my hair loved the moisture.
