Lynn, thats not quite a no buy challenge now is it. Thats like me and Im going on a diet after I eat all the things I like (it never happens LOL). Im just kidding I'm sure you'll be able to do it. I know Im done with products but Im keeping my eyes open for accessories.

TravelJunkie, how did your hair like the Vatika. Curiosity got the best of me (and my pockets).

So Ive learned that working out and this twist out don't go together. This Wii Fit of mine has me working up and sweat and my twist out is turning into a "fro out." Although Im loving the twist out I may have to shelf this style as a regular if I intend to work out regularly. What do you ladies do to maintain your styles while working out?

I work out regularly and wearing two strand twist works best for me. If you wear any out style while working out, you may as well get ready for shrinkage and for the fro to rear its head. Maybe when our hair gets longer, it will be different.

So I'm still feeling my hair, puffiness and all. I get to work and my coworker asks me why I came to work with my head "like that." Like what is what I'm thinking but I just responded because I wanted to. What's up with hair police? Anyway I'm gonna wash my hair tonight or tomorrow. Should I prepoo and DC or just one of the two? Im going to use coconut oil and olive oil.

I honestly don't remember. I used it a few times in the summer as a pre-poo.

Yeah, I'm getting a little concerned about how working out is going to effect my hair. I wanted to drop down to co-washing every 5 days, but I think I'm going to have to stick with every 2-3 days now that I'm working out again.

If my hair feels dry, I'll do both. Sometimes I prepoo because I am lazy and dont want to DC. When I do prepoo, I always do it overnight (saves time). But I always do one or the other.

What style are you gonna try this time?

I work out every day during my lunch hour (35 minutes on the treadmill going 3.6 mph). I sweat but I do not think I sweat in my scalp. I cleanse once a week now that it is cooler, and in the summer I co-washed every day or so. I have not nor has my husband noticed any foul smells coming from my scalp. If you sweat in your hair, you can spritz some water with EOs of peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender and/or tea tree on your scalp. They each have antimicrobial or antiseptic properties.

Thanks Chrs, I sweat in my head more so than anywhere else. I will definitely try the spritz to keep my hair fresh, but its not an odor that's the problem, its the moisture causing my hair to frizz.

Lynn, right now I'm DC overnight with olive oil and coconut oil because I'm too tired to attempt a style. Tomorrow I will try two strand twist and if even that is too complicated I will just do a TWA and a headband.

Traveljunkie, I went on F21 website and saw tons of cute hair accessories. Thanks for helping me develop my PJism. ;-)

Hmmm, perhaps stay away from humectants and products with them. Check out this http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/curl-products/winterize-your-routine. Although it does not speak of working out, I think it may help. Perhaps try sealing with a little butter at your roots. I would love to know if you find anything that helps. I want to roller set my hair and workout but would hate to go through all the steps for it to last a couple of days Adiaha's Natural Hair Journey - Page 4 Icon_mad .

Okay Ive been twisting my hair for nearly 4hrs. I mean my hair is thick but not that thick, I guess with practice it'll get done faster. The back is longer and therefore easier, now that Im at the front its much more difficult and looks "crazy" to me. What to do, what to do? I'm still working but I'll post pics when Im done.

Okay ladies here is my first attempt at two strand twists, took all of 4.5hours which is a long time for a style I dont really like. I actually like my twist but not feeling the pattern or the excessive amount of scalp showing.

Texture shots prior to product application:

GIRL THAT LOOKS GOOD FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! When your hair gets longer, the parts will start to disappear. They look good. I'm sorry it took you so long. I promise the more you practice, the faster you will get. Here is a pic of my first set of twist. Dont laugh!

I like your first twist out although your latest one is enviable. My three year old didnt help much because he kept "needing" something, but I anticipate 2-3hrs each time for awhile (hopefully not too long though as I don't have 2-3 hrs at a time when Im in school (there goes by activity in BnB Adiaha's Natural Hair Journey - Page 4 Icon_pale).

@Babs LOL Thats too funny. If its a college form it was probably collegeclub because I was a collegeclub junkie. Sad I know, but even worse Im now becoming a CurlyNikki junkie, but with so many other responsibilities (school, work, highly active son) my junkism is constantly in check. Its bad right now because schools out.

Thanks for the compliments. Adiaha's Natural Hair Journey - Page 4 Icon_redface Im blushing LOL. Refresh my memory on who you are, you can private message me if you'd feel more comfortable.

@Sweetdrk1, I promise you will have tons of fun playing all the different games. I think the most fun is that I suck at most of them and I compete with my boyfriend. I beat him in the aerobics type coordination (like advanced step) games and he beat me at the more sports oriented games. Its fun and I promise you will be sore (thats a good thing).
