I use to use this during my first run in the "natural hair arena" about 10 years ago... I kept my hair braided and it did make my hair grow! I didn't think about it until I saw this post! Will be buying again, now that I've BC'd I am starting this journey yet again!

I bought both the regular and the light on Thursday. They do stink a bit but I think if used sparingly it will be okay. I used to use this way back in the day in high school but I can't remember how well it worked. But I am gonna give it another go when my Castor oil runs out. I bought one for my mom and one for me. Very Happy Anxious to start using it again.

I bought, had it and let my friend have it; because I couldn't take the smell. The iron makes it smell like that. So I stick to my jbco as my growth aid and it works even better.

Interesting. I bought both the light (yellow bottle) and the regular (white bottle) and they have very different ingredients. The light has more oil in it while the regular has more minerals in it, hence the iron. That's interesting. I wonder what reults I'd get if I mix the 2 and then apply.....???? Hhmmm.... confused scratch

I just bought the Wild Grow oil on Sunday and yes the smell is not appeasing at all. My home girl that braided my hair asked me if I had been smoking, lol. I told her it was the oil and then let her smell it from the bottle.

I've decided to only apply the oil at night before I go to bed.

so it's safe to say that WHGO has play a significant part in my hair regimine. it's only been 1 month i believe and my hair is MUCH thicker, softer, and stronger. it has been growing alot but i'm not sure if this is just my natural growth rate or the oil is aiding such growth. when i bc a month ago my hair came to mid forhead now a stretched curl in front is between my eyes and in the back a curl is stretched down to almost the bottom of my neck.

Just started the WHGO 2 weeks ago after reading the posts on this forum. The smell isn't THAT bad to me. I was eating bbq wings the first day I used it so it reminds me of Buffulo Wild Wings each time I use it Smile

Not "wild" growth yet but I'll post pics in 2 weeks!

I'm interested. I think I will buy it also. Question. If I use it at night, will the smell be gone in the morning?

@ChocBeauty,
I use mine at night and by the morning the smell is either totally gone or it's faint.

I have noticed that my scalp has been more itchy than normal. I just cowashed my hair on Sunday, but I'm going to shampoo it this weekend and see if that helps. Anyone else experiencing itchy scalp?

@Hart-4-Naturals: YES, my scalp is crazy itchy lately but some previous posts have mentioned that this might be because of hair growth....

I figure that this oil has tons of great stuff in it so even if the growth is minimal, its still worth it

Ok let me say that i swear by this product~ My co-worker told me about this product, prior to my being natural about two years ago... My daughter has long hair and she had a weak spot, ok I used this product for 6 weeks and kept her hair in braids no lie... her hair grew very quickly that it blended in with the rest of her hair... we use it 3 times a week... now that we are natural we still use it, I love it! I think the lite does not work as well as the regular, however the smell is far better... yeah to WGHO....

I bought WHGO about a month ago based on recommendations on this forum. I kept my hair in braids for too long (years) so my hair is weak and I have bald spots all over. Kid you not, after a month of using this oil (mostly at night), my hair is back in all those spots. The smell is not great, but if you want your hair growing back in weak spots, I think the smell is tolerable..WGHO works...

@GlamBam: Girl, thank you for confirming that because I was 2 steps from taking these braids out and washing my hair vigorously! LOL. I'm going to keep the braids in for the rest of this week and check my progress then braid it back up. I am so excited to see how well this product is working.

So yes yes!!!! I did it! I walked into Sally's and bought the Wild Growth Oil that everyone has been talking about. After reading on CN and seeing post on YT I decided to take my chances and jump on the band wagon. I'll post pictures once a month to show growth (if any). Here are my before pics!!

@ QueenSheba: You've got GREAT hair!!! Smile I'm using to correct thin edges but length wouldn't hurt either. I'll be posting pics after month 1.

Not sure if my hair is just getting kinkier or what BUT I think I'm seeing some growth

I've been using the oil for a week and I really like it. It makes my roots very soft. I like the smell. I was thinking of adding some orange oil to it but the smell is growing on me. My man doesn't mind it either. I can't wait to take my twists out to see if works on my whole head.
