Great video Nubie! Making me wish I had cut my hair even shorter when I did my bc. Just because you're getting older don't stop telling jokes or feel like you have to act a certain age. People love you because you make them laugh and believe me would rather be around someone who is fun and has a good time instead of someone who complains and is mad at the world all the time. One of my favorite quotes is "laugh to forget but don't forget to laugh". Don't change your personality because you're reaching a certain age because laughter relieves stress and helps you enjoy life more. Okay I'm getting off of my soapbox now (lol).

**sniff** thanx laydeez! i put some hard work into gettin that video together so im glad u guys like it. i actually cant stop watchin it, lol. its like i've come so far so i appreciate it that much more.

i did actually get to FINALLY trim my ends this morning. i washed it yesterday (KBN poo n condish) and i DC'd w/hairveda sitrinillah while i shopped all day. last night i washed it out the DC n just put KBN leave-in ONLY to detangle n get it out the way. This morning, my job called me to see if i want OT...HELLZ YEA (i need to get my sectional) then i said...oh shoot, i gotta do my hair. so i trimmed my ends in sections n twisted em up. my INTENTIONS were to put it in twist for the week but trimmin was so much work, i didnt wanna twist, n untwist just to add product n twist all over...TOOOO MUCH, so i just left my twist (after trimming) in. actually to just twist w/the kbn leave-in was pretty good. i still got good moisture n its so light n fluffy.

after i trimmed i just spritz'd n put my andre 3000 turban on n rolled. my dmn arms be tired n all i need to try n find my flat irons cuz i think it'll be easier for me to just untwist n straighten per twist vs tryin to section off everything n go from there! we'll see. its been cool in the dmv lately so i figure if it doesnt RAIN, my straight look should hold up!

Hey, I loved the video. I hear you about the over-time. I am going to have quite a bit this go-around. Is this the first time you trimmed? I did a trim on my six months and my hair was very thankful. I know you are looking forward to the next year. What do you have in store?

yea this is my first trim, i wanted to wait for my 1st year so i could get the FULL potential of every length which i might add, im a taaad bit under my full 6 inches but nonetheless, im proud of my growth. i've actually NEVER trimmed my own hair, even in my permie days, so this was quite a learning experience. them shears was shaaaarp too, got it from target!!

Well I'm waiting until my one year as well to do a full trim. I snip here and there but nothing major.

I figure, while im celebrating my year, i discovered using these pikistrips (im gettin so advanced ) so i can do some comparison shots...woo hoo



(yes peep the face tat, lol...i'll be blogging on THAT bein another pet peeve of mine...stay tuned)

wooo u know what...im so spontaneous that i could wake up n bc again tomorrow! yes, eventually i do wanna bc again but for now since i dont have the funds to invest in keepin up w/shape ups is the ONLY reason i havent done it thus far. PLUS i wanna use up whatever products i have.

one thing u wont see me with is Waist length hair the longest i'd let it get is MAYBE BSL but the longer its gettin, the more work needs to be done to it and im just not press for long hair anymore. in the beginning its what i wanted but i just miss the twa days when it took me less than 10 min to do my hair. ur either long or short cuz this in between stage is for the birds i just keep lookin at my childhood pics when i was like 4 yrs old n my hair was long, thick n wild...i know i dont have the patience for it n i have no idea how my mom did either!

so i dont know, we'll see. it'll be a surprise whenever it happens

thanx laydeez! nothing really goin on in my hair news lately i wanted to keep my hair twisted up but lately i just been feelin like wearin it OUT! dont know why. i guess since im passed my year mark im feelin more free, but i cant get too happy cuz i know the ending result if i dont keep it up. sometimes i'll retwist it at night but other times i just spritz n stuff it under my bonnet i just like the fact that i can be lazy wit my hair sometimes! EEEK!!

its soooo soft though, i twisted w/hairveda green tea butter and nothing more cuz i had already had my kbn leave-in absorbed in! when i did my twist out i just went over it to refresh w/darcy's coconut lemongrass transitioning creme...LOOOOOVE this stuff, i will definitely UPGRADE!! so now im turning my head into a frizz ball becuz 1. my twist out was too neat looking 2. i cant keep my hands outta my hair cuz i just looove touchin it, lol

i might have my gf come over n braid it up for me but im waitin on my stepmom to get up the energy to kinky twist it for me! im just lookin to put my hair up for a few months. til then i'll enjoy it OUT n about til it gets tooo cold, brrrrr!!
