yeeees im loving the versatility most definitely! i'll probably leave it straight until the New Years! i feel really weird, like i know it looks good but i feel like im back to blending in wit the crowd i feel so....regular! but im gonna make sure i keep up wit my ends and keep my scalp greased.

heeeey laydeez!! so this morning i decided to knock off another "to do before bc" list:



yup! i got it pressed n curled. i will say...even though its said n done, im still deathly afraid of HEAT DAMAGE!! regardless of whether im cuttin it off soon or not, its still MINE and dmn it i worked hard for it. i figure this will be easier since all i need to do is wrap n go but now i feel like its too fragile cuz i gotta actually USE an umbrella n etc. i washed n detangled myself at home n just went to the salon to let my gf do her thing! its definitely silky soft, my hair wasnt even this soft WITH a perm. i went home and greased my scalp w/my pooka butter and i'll measure n play with it later!



and pleeeeease dont get it twisted, this is cute but i wouldnt trade my curls in for the world.

Love the Pink Friday lipstick. I was on Ebay the other day looking for MAC stuff and see people are selling it. All bootleg and jacked up, high a*& pricing though. Don't be embarassed to wear it out. I wore MAC's Girl About Town to the meet up. I was nervous/scared/hesitant to do so but rocked it and got compliments. My biggest compliment came from one of the guys who worked in ULTA and was doing makeup on someone else. He came over and told me how he liked how I was wearing the pink lipstick. I was too excited! So, rock it girly.

Hope all the baby daddy drama gets worked out. I don't know why people can't just "MAN" up for their damn kids.

Anyway, you're looking good over here. Work it!

Hey laydeez and thanx a bunch! this straight look is...errr reminding me of how much work i did in my permie days, lol. im gonna keep it up as long as i can cuz this do' cost me $50, shooooot!!! u know how many hair product splurges i can do wit $50! i WILL say, im a pleasantly surprised becuz my hair has NEVER been this glossy n soft with a perm. the shine is ridick!! but i still keep my scalp moisturized mainly becuz my scalp will dry out REAL quick bein straight. i oiled with my afroveda shikakai oil (OMG, YALL KNOW I LOVE THIS STUFF) and i need to re-up so bad, its like loooong overdue but im tryin to control my pj-ness...like seriously!!

other parents at mason school barely recognized me and of course my fam thinks i got a perm im like how dare u insult me, lol. i think the shrinkage of coils fool folks cuz they sho' nuff had the game twisted n was surprised at my growth. i mean its only been 15 months. So depending on who wins on my blog, i'll be orderin some stuff for ME too, lol. and OMG, i went to QB today and they not takin orders til mid-jan yall know i wanna try the new moringa ghee, im a sucker for a DC!!

oooh i lost about 5lbs guys will i make my "lose 30 before 30 goal" by jan. 26 but im gonna try to get at least HALF!! but anyhoo...

i went on a field trip wit mason's class to see the grinch ice sculptures at the harbor. it was actually nice but remind u...i had JUST worked 12hrs sun night, picked mason up after a quick 2hr nap n had him at school by 8am!! how i do it...whew!! but it was fun and i know he loved me being with him on the trip so im gonna make sure i chaperone more often when im off.





It was friggin 9 degrees in that dmn place! BRRRRrrrr aint the word, i wanted to take more pics but after a few pics i was scared of gettin frost bite. they give u parka jackets to wear on top of ur own coat!





we sure did enjoy the icy slide, that was soooo fun!!





UGH!! im such a procrastinator i need to finish last minute xmas shopping and i just cant help to stop n get more stuff for MYSELF even though i wanna hold out to shop in NY!!

Your press and curl looks great. I'm really surprised how straight it got, it really does almost look like you got a relaxer I want to to straighten my hair but I'm scared of permanent damage lol.

The ice-sculptors looks amazing from the pictures but 9 degrees I don't know if I could do it. I'm a california girl, I love my 60-70 degree weather.

Looks like you had a blast at the Grinch Sculptures and that Ice Slide looks super fun! I miss the cold weather...haven't seen snow in about 10 years!

And your hair? Still looks fab! Have you been "touching it up?" (with a flat iron) or is it still sleek from the original press?

touch up heck naw! i'd be too scared to add anymore heat, lol. its the same sleekness from my press on Sat. i just wrap n go and pray that i dont sweat too much! since i dont have to deal with humidity n etc its goin strong.
