So I slept until the last minute AGAIN even though I knew I had to redo my bun. I followed the same steps that I did yesterday morning and I am hoping for the same outcome this evening. This may be good for my ends and help me out with retaining length.
The Steps:
1. Separate ponytail into four section
2. Spray each section one at a time and detangle
3. Apply shea butter mix to the length and castor oil on the ends
4. Two strand twist
4. After each section is done, pin into place
Style complete.

That sounds good! I need to go back to buns again! LOL. you are my inspiration.

After seeing my Aug-Nov growth. I am a believer in buns!
I know my hair grows because my dye grew out so fast but it was ridiculous how my hair continued to remain the same length.
So now my theory is:
"Products don't result in growth, length retention shows your growth"

I did about 8-10 wet twists all over took, them out when they dried, and then used side combs to pin them up and over. Super simple.

It looks like a rod set. It looks so soft and fluffy. SMH....if you had asked me last year this time if I thought natural hair could be soft and fluffy, I would have said, "NAW." Thank God I can to my senses and educated myself.

A rod set is actually on my "to try" list. It was really soft that night. The only thing different about my routine is aloe vera....my hair really seems to like it

My evening plans changed (stupid snow) and I had a few free hours so I went ahead and did the step by step process.

Bun Tutorial

TIA, I just saw your bun tutorial. I use to do that to my hair when it was completely relaxed because it was super pretty and easy. It had alot of length back then.

But what I really want to say is seriously, I covet you hair.
Now I know that is a sin and LORD PLEASE FORGIVE ME. But my hair wants to be your hair when it grows up and out....lol

BTW, how many inches of snow is expected over there?

@Intelligentbeauty: snow in NC is such a joke, it turned into rain that will freeze tonight and be a mess in the morning. The sad part is everything such down as soon as one flake fell. Nothing stuck

The same thing happens here. If one flake falls, the city shuts down. And can you say accidents? Some people dont realize you cant drive 75-80mph when it is raining and snowing.
