Eco custard Empty Eco custard

Post by justicenga 4th June 2010, 10:18 pm

I whipped up a batch of eco custard (1 cup eco styler, 1 tbsp EVOO, 1 tbsp EVCO, 1 tbsp AVG) and I think I'm in love. I used it for a twistout and it is truly the bizness! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I wish that I could get the eco styler to work for me. I may have to give it one more try just to see if it works. Which eco styler did you use?

Could you really tell a difference with the eco custard vs the plain use of the eco styler?

What does AVG stand for?

TwistedKurlzz I used the regular eco styler.

Dream Merchant yes I could tell the difference. My hair was soft with lots of sheen and my twists/curls were well defined.

LaToya28 you should definitely try it. It's a cheap mixture with great resuts.

Wow! I just whipped up a batch of a shea hair dress but I am definitely going to try this eco custard. I absoluely love eco style gel! Has anyone noticed a big difference in the olive oil formula versus the original formula?

Gonna try this this weekend! I'm so excited! I don't even have to go out and buy any new products!

@CocoaDreamee - there's a thread comparing the two in the "Products" forum.

Omg, I don't even know where to begin. I love the eco custard. I used it to do a twistout and my curls are so defined. Before I used the eco custard, I tried using the eco styling gel mixed with other products and I always had white buildup in my hair afterwards that stayed even after it was completely dry. When I used the eco custard, it did not leave any residue after it dried and my hair was not hard either. Thank you @justicenga for posting this recipe of the eco custard.

So, I couldn't wait for the weekend, so I whipped up a batch of Eco Custard last night and put it on twists in my puff. I absolutely love the results (will post pics later). My hair is so much more defined, and even came out shiny. I can't wait to do a complete Eco custard twist-out this weekend. Thanks Justicenga, and I love Aloe Vera gel!

I used the olive oil eco styler gel and I had no white residue at all. I use to always have trouble with white residue and flakes when I would use the eco styler with other mixes, but I love how I have no residue, flakes and my hair isn't hard either.
