Flaxseed "custard"
So I made some flax seed gel to twist my hair, but I thought about what the ladies were doing to Eco Styler to make custard and tried it with the flax gel. My hair turned out sooooo cute and defined! All I used was the flax gel, JBCO, castor oil, and jojoba oil. Then I put in a few drops of tea tree oil and a Vitamin E capsule as mild preservatives. This will probably last about 3 or 4 weeks bc I put it in the fridge.

Hmmm, I have plenty of flaxseeds. I may try this to help my WnGs last a couple more days. What recipe and method did you use for creating your flax seed gel? I know there are a lot out there.
Re: Flaxseed "custard"
i used 1/4 cup flax seed and 2 cups water...it yielded a nice consistency. then i added the oils and mixed it up if makes my twists last for a little over a week without having to re twist or moisturize, but i routinely oil my scalp and lube my ends but yeah it lasts!
