SN: I almost forgot this lady in the locker room watch me fluff out my hair, and as I was getting ready to leave she told me I looked like Macy Gray......she was white, and I told her thank you because I think she's beautiful!!! She said nothing.... This is Macy!!

yea! 8 months. I wore my fro Friday and I know my supervisor didn't like it because he didn't say anything about it. It's okay I liked it and I got other compliments.

KNH i agree that Macy is beautiful. But the white ppl at my school call me her constantly and it gets annoying. THey think that she is the only natural famous black woman. P.S. Happy aniverssary!!

Really.....I really think its our fault they think that way. We've been straighting our hair for so long our natural curls are just really new to them. I would like to think that they don't mean anything by it. Let's just hope as more ladies embrace their curls...they will understand that it is apart of who we are naturally. Thanks...8 whole months!!

Thanks mstokes!!! I guess while she was looking at my hair...I was trying to figure out why didn't she cut her hair. It is sooo thin and stringy....I was feeling sorry for her until she made that comment. Not really sure how she meant it....

Swoodward...I love Wanda's hair, and I think she pretty as well. So maybe your friend was really being nice. I LOVE Wanda's hair for real!!!

Not sure if you can tell from the pictures but really curly...the key is I have to keep my hands out of my hair!!!

Will post pictures of completely dry hair when I do my review of both products ~ Bumble & Bumble and MiraCurl!!
