Here is my puff right before the twist challenge.




Here was my puff yesterday.

hey mama!! i see u got some good growth goin on there! what u been doin? have u been stickin to a reggie or change products?

I have been using the same products. I cowash one a week and do a dc. For that I have just been using honey and HE TT. Then after I rinse, I add more condish, coconut oil, and seal with shea butter.

When I twist, I use twist and lock gel. That is about it. I did order some rose oil from Avon to use to pre-poo and I forgot to use it...LOL. I will let you know how that goes next week.

Oh man, I was just looking at the bottom of the main page and I saw that I have a birthday coming up (I try to forget). I would like to do something different that day.

What is something new that I can do with my hair length?

Your puff looks great! Definitely some growth there! You say you use twist and loc gel...do you use the one by ORS? Because I have a tub of it that I used maybe 2 or 3 times (so it's mostly full) and you can have it if you want!

When is your birthday? Mine is coming up on the 4th...still no clue what I want to do . As for your hair, hmm....maybe ask Tiashuantee for suggestions?

Hey lady. You have some nice growth going on. Your routine definitely seems to be helping and I'm sure the twist challenge helped as well. As far as styles I can just tell you what I've done with my hair recently since I'm not the most creative curly you'll find on this site in that department. I did two flat twists in the front of my head (going from ear to ear). It acts as a double headband and then did a twist out in the back. I can't remember if I took pictures. I'll look and see and post them here if I did. They would be on my hunnys laptop.

@africanlatina- that sounds like a really cute style! I may try that one day.

I am actually using Organic Root Stimulator twist and loc gel. I wanted to get the OS, but didn't want to search creation for it, so I just bought the first thing that I found. I would love to take your ORS off of your hands.

My b'day is Wednesday, June 30th. Happy early Birthday to you! Do you have any special plans. There is a dessert at my church for the volunteers, so I am just going to that. I am going to have a piece of cake for myself...and a cookie, and some fudge, and some...

That sounds nice. I am definitely going to have to try that. I hope I can flat twist sideways...LOL

I finally have my hair twisted. I'm not sure that I like the first flat twist in the front. It's not so flat since I had to fit all of the front of my head in it. I had issues with the parts, too. The bag is cute. Just wondering if you guys have any ideas on how I can smooth out the front.

I did decide to change the front a little bit. I just added one more flat twist in the front.

Is the back in two strand twists? This style is really cute. Maybe you should make the parts for the flat twist smaller, then they won't look as big. You may need to make it into 6 flat twists next time.

Thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes. I had a great day with my family and got to spend the evening with some church friends.

I wish I took a picture, but I ended up putting a bandana over the top of my head. I left on flat twist in the very front. Where the bangs woule band and a twist out in the back.

I thought it looked cute.
