Here is a little bit of my story as to why I went natural. While working on my freelance project I was researching a lot of hair
styles. A lot of them was asking about black hair styles. So, one of
the very first sites that I went to was longhaircareforum.com
(something like that) and I would read on there. Well, I was reading a
lot on hair pieces and places to order and so on, since that is what I
have been doing for lord knows how long.

Well, one day there
was an add in the side bar for Diva Smooth. Long story short, I checked
it out, read the reviews and thought this is great, I can have the best
of both worlds. Well, a week or so later I ordered the product and I
used my paypal account. Whenever I shop online, I always pay at the
same time. Well, weeks went by and my order was never filled. I emailed
the company and they said that the payment never went through. I don't
know what happened because I always have money in paypal. Well, I took
it as a sign that I don't need to waste my money on that stuff, I can
still go natural and straighten my hair once in a while.

So, I stopped using relaxers ever since then.

Today, I dc my hair. Then I flat twisted the front and the back is in two strand twist. I hope the front makes it to tomorrow. In the morning before church I will take the back out.

I actually cowashed first, then dc's with honey and Aussie Moist. Now after that I used suave as my leave in. Then I sealed with shea butter and coconut oil. Was that right or should I have put the coconut oil then the shea butter? that part confuses me.

I will come back and add a pic of what I look like now, just in cast my hair is jacked up in the morning and I have to untwist all of it.

You put the leave in, coconut oil then the shea butter.

Today, I too my two strand twists out in the back. I got a lot of compliments, so I guess this hair style is a winner.

Now, I will spend the rest of the day hanging out with the family and we are putting some steaks on the grill for dinner.

Now, keep in mind this is second day hair. I plan on twisting it back up tonight. I have to be honest, I think this is the best set of twists that I have to date.









I can't wait to get rid of the hole in the back of my head. I seem to always have it.
