Wow, I can't believe this is the last week of the challenge. This is my best set, I wait to see what it looks like next week, because I will probably continue to do them. I would like to start by thanking IntellingentBeauty, I borrowed your look from last week. I love it!

I also didn't realize that yesterday was official 3 months natural! I knew I was 12 weeks on Tuesday, but the 23rd is the actual date.

Oh, the only complaint that I do have is that I get soooo much shrinkage.

It's mid week and I do have to say that my hair is still looking pretty darn good. I didn't buy the stuff to make the eco-custard, so I just bought some twist and loc gel and it has made a huge difference.

We got a new puppy today. My kids are ecstatic! They had no idea. The look on their face was priceless.

The ORS Lock and Twist gel is very similar to the Ecocustard as far as results.

Here is my weekend hair. I cant believe the twist challenge is over. Wow!! I have definitely seen the growth benefits. In the beginning, I was hesitant to join, but now I am glad that I did.

I think that I have even more confidence that before.

Well, I don't have anything new to report. I ended up getting sick last week. Summer colds are the worst. Since, I was sick I didn't really do anything to my hair. It was so dry and brittle. Well, I didn't want to go backwards after such a great twist challenge, so yesterday I twisted my hair back up. i will wear it like this for the remainder of the weeks and do a twist out on the weekend. That style is such a winner.

I have my hair twisted again this week. I did discover one thing. Last week, I waited until my hair was 90% dry before I twisted it. Before the week was over it looked so dry. I didn't even wear a twist out. I just took it out and did a DC.

I retwisted my hair as soon as I was done washing it and boy can I tell the difference. It has so much more definition and hold so much more moisture.

I guess I will have to just deal with shrinkage. That is what I was trying to do, stretch my hair.

Did you put anything in your hair prior to airdrying it? If you didn't try putting in a leave-in conditioner and oil airdrying and then using moisturizer to style. You could also add moisturizer before air drying.

Yes, I used a leave in, moisturized and sealed. Then used a twist and loc gel to twist. Same products just waited in between twisting.
