Glad you've got your winter regiment down. Can't wait to see pictures of Lola, and I must say she has it going on if your avatar is an indication of what she is looking like now.

*In my Paula Deen Voice* HEY YAWL!!!
Hope yall are excited about this 3 day weekend, I am!!
I just wanted to share how God has truly been blessing, Im excited because I got a new job in Raleigh, NC. Gods been sooo good, and Im so grateful!
Woo, I just had to share that with my fellow naturalistas...but anywhoo, nothing much has been going on with my hair. I finally went out and bought the Yes To Cucumbers conditioner, I had to re-up on my giovanni direct leave in at target and I saw the YTC and thought Id get it to try it. Im gonna do a review on it sometime next week. Ive noticed that the longer my hair gets the more I just naturally put it in two strand twists right after I condition it. Ive had it in two french braids for the past few braids but Im feeling ambitious and want to try a bantu knot out tonight....
I hope you ladies are doing well....Be Blessed

Hey Curlies!!
I wanted to post a few pics about whats been going on with my hair. So Lola, has been really loving the bantu knot out. I didnt realize I could stretch my hair so well by doing it.
This is a pic of my hair after I applied some of my leave in mix and a little shea butter
This is day two hair, two nights after I bantu knotted, the night before this style I plaited it to create a more wavy look. I was going for a Tracee Ellis Ross style, but it didnt get as big as I wanted
Im really thinking about weaving my hair up soon. I wanna give Lola a rest because Ive done some protective styles and such but I just want her to rest for a month or two without much manipulation.
I start my new job next week so Lola will be bunned alot now during the week.
Talk to you divas later~~!
Have a great weekend

Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
Happy Friday Ladies!!!
I want to first thank Curly Nikki for the awesome Raleigh natural hair meetup that we had on last weekend it was great!! I met so many naturalistas, we had good convo, excellent wine, and just had a good fellowshipping time.
*Praise Break*
Ladies, Im so thankful to God, this is week two on my new job and I feel so good. God really smiled down on me by giving me the opportunity to receive this job. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and words of encouragement.
Hair....
For work Lola stays in a bun, sometimes its a high bun and other times its low but she stays bunned nonetheless. Ive been wearing my hair out on the weekends and doing my scalp massages once a week, so ive developed a routine im comfy with for right now. I tried Yes To Cucumbers conditioner last weekend and I love it, definitely gonna be a staple product.
Weightloss/Exercise..
The hubs and I started P90x last week, so today begins week 2. I actually like it, its an intense workout but I already see more definition and have more energy...I will keep yall posted on how this goes
I hope yall have a great weekend!

Hey Sis...
Congratulations on the new job!! It makes the day go by faster when you enjoy what you do as well as the environment!
I heard that the PX90 was something else..(all good from what I hear) so I know you will see the results you want...can't wait to see pictures..hint, hint..LOL
I got so off track during the holidays, but I've managed to cut back on my meal portions. Set 2....water, water, water. I am still trying to find the Zumba for the Wii, I need to check Wal-Mart by my house. I think I got off track buying make-up...LOL
I love Joan's hair (Tracie Ellis Ross) and you came very close...that girl just has big hair with no effort!!!
Glad I got over here so I could get caught up with you!! Take care!!
