Im super excited about this Curl Street Journal that I DONT know how to act...

I just got back from my wedding and honeymoon, and it was LOVERLY!! LOL


I had some issues though..The natural hair salon that was supposed to do my hair at the VERY last minute switched up pricing and availability so I had to go with a different salon...here is the style that I wanted and then what I got

I enjoyed the wedding, and even with the hair issues, the new stylist did an awesome job

Girl the major problem was the fact that the salon kept quoting me a price of $25 over the phone, but when I got down there for my consultation 2 days before the wedding they changed it to $250 and wanted me to get a full head sew in!! i was like WHATTTT???

so i found another stylist who was alot more affordable and only used a few pieces of hair to add more volume to the back....

it was rough having a wedding in miami, while i was planning living in VA...so the stylist problem got to me a little bit, but we found another stylist quick!!

yeah i was crying in the chair when i got my hair cut so i COMPLETELY understand how you feel...but the next day after i played with it, i loved my hair all over again!! my pic in my siggy was taken the same day as my BC...i had alot more hair under those relaxed ends than i thought!! i went to a natural hair salon to get mine cut and it was only $25 i think...but im sure you can cut it yourself...i had someone else do it cuz i prob wouldve never got the guts to do it myself lol...

aww its gonna be so cute though, youve already been doing alot of great things with your hair now

and by this time next year you will def see some growth in your hair, but you can straighten for your brother, i mean he IS blood LOL!!!

so i played around with a wash n go a few weeks ago, i used some ic fantasia gel and giovanni direct leave in

I love being natural i just think I need to learn how to master certain methods because i still havent mastered a wash n go for my hair, or how to make a good bun last, or how to get a perfect puff!!

im working on it though....

So I just got serious about the Twist Pin Up challenge and Im going in on it, because my hand in hair syndrome has come back with a vengence!!

Here is how Im wearing my hair throughout the week...I have all of the back in twists pinned up but 3 or 4 of the front twists are taken out for a twist out bang effect..



Im very excited because we dont have a whole foods here, HOWEVER, I just found out that the vitamin shoppe here sells all the oils and some of the hair product lines i want to try. They sell jane carter solutions and aubrey organix as well, but im gonna wait til I run out of the other products Ive bought and love before I try something new....I love how my hair is growing...This past weekend I visited the lady who did my BC and she loved this style on me....So that made me feel good, she kept saying that my hair looked good, and that made me smile..

Im really trying to let my hair grow, and Im getting on some new energy vitapak vitamins from GNC so we will see how that goes. Im trying to lose 10-12 lbs so that I can be truly where I want to be with weight and body issues.

On a more personal note: I just got married and Im realizing that now that the wedding planning is over, its really time for me to buckle down and focus on some goals that ive been wanting to follow through on, but got side tracked when i began wedding planning. Im really considering a PhD and a few other things that have been on my heart....
