@naturalchic...I may just try that, it'll do way less damage to my wallet. I just hate that shipping is like $12!

Re: jlowman1: SHORT UPDATE 3/18 =)
MY Product Junkie MOMENT:
I just ordered Baby Buttercreme, Curly Pudding and Jane Carter Nourish
and Shine from RickysNYC.com...They have free shipping (right up my
alley) on orders of $20 or more... I will definitely review them here
once I try them out!
I also ordered 1lb of unrefined shea butter from Butters-n-Bars. I love
their shea butter. Its so much better than that stuff with the yellow
dye from the BSS store,IMO. That kind broke me out.
Also got on a makeup kick and ordered some NYX jumbo eye pencils from
Nonpareilboutique. Thanks @BAMNcurls! They actually had the Milk one.
Everywhere else I looked was out of stock or they simply don't have it.
Next I want to try Oyin Handmade, Qhemet Biologics,Afroveda and Karen's Body
Beautiful products... then I "THINK" I'll be satisfied...
Update @ 10:01 PM Saturday: Just ordered KBB's Hair Milk in Creamy Coco Mango... Ok I'm done for the month, this is ridiculous...
Update @ 10:39 PM Sunday: Ordered Afroveda's Sunsilk Citrus Hair Oil... Ok yall Im really done now, I PROMISE!

Looks like you had fun on your PJ splurge! I love Jane Carter's products. Glad you found the NYX milk pencil!
Re: jlowman1: SHORT UPDATE 3/18 =)
@krazy coils... I went CRAZY! lol, Now Im antsy , cant wait to get everything and it sucks that I have to go all the way home to get them. I didnt want it to be sent to my P.O. Box here at school. The people in the Housing dept are soooo nosey and always ask whats in the packages.
Jane Carter's Leave In is awesome and Im hoping I love the Nourish and Shine just as much. Its been a long time coming for that NYX pencil. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for it. I need to get some more brushes as well but I'll save those until next month, hopefully!

Re: jlowman1: SHORT UPDATE 3/18 =)
@naturalchic... I cant wait to try my eye pencils. I've NEVER seen a bad review on them and the fact that they are so hard to find lets me know that they are just THAT good!
I will definitely review the other products once I try them out...
My gloss turned out really good! I like them so much better than the full treatments. My hair isn't shedding as much, its shiny and it still feels strong. Plus I love the color from the henna. I've always been a fan of the reddish auburn color.

Re: jlowman1: SHORT UPDATE 3/18 =)
You are doing such a great job with your hair!! When I BC'ed I was to scared to try any recipes. Your hair looks good and healthy. I have to try that recipe! Thanks girl!
Re: jlowman1: SHORT UPDATE 3/18 =)
@GodsNaturalBeauti... Thanks so much! Being on a college students budget has required me to become pretty creative with the recipes. LoL, its really fun though. I actually enjoy mixing different things together.
With that recipe, you may have to tweak it. It has quite a bit of castor oil in it. CD's original recipe has I think Soybean or Corn Oil in it which I didnt have so I replaced it with Castor and EVOO. Next time, I'll keep my proportions small and use less drops of essential oil. Other than that, I hope you enjoy it!

ohh thanks girl!! My hair loves Castor.. so its fine! I know exactly what you mean. At times being natural is breaking me! But I do NOT regret the decision. I just enjoy it and learn more about my hair.
Re: jlowman1: SHORT UPDATE 3/18 =)
@GodsNaturalBeauti... I totally agree, it is all worth it!

Hi jlowman
I like henna as well...I could really see more curl definition more so than shine. I could be because I have color on my hair and plus type 4's have more of a sheen than shiny hair.
You are doing a great job becoming a PJ. I'm so glad that I'll have someone in that club with me!!! LOL
Oh just to add to your addiction check out this link...

Re: jlowman1: SHORT UPDATE 3/18 =)
@naturalchic...OMG yayyyy! That is awesome. If I like the Milk pencil, I may just go buy them out so I can keep them on hand. Thanks for the heads up! Im glad you loved the Aussie Moist. I'm still trying to find a good shampoo also. I like Kinky Curly Come Clean but I want something that I can get in a store. I tried Giovanni but it strips my hair. I'm think I'm going to try Aubrey Organics next.
@iri9109... Thats too funny! I told my Mom to watch out for a couple pkgs coming to the house. She asked, "How many is a couple (she knows how I get with products)?" I said, "Like 5, she was like !!!! She HATES when I buy hair stuff! LoL, but she loves when I don't like something b/c I hand it over to her! Haha

Hey LM! Thanks for stopping through! How did the tattoo convention go?
The convention is great! I ran into an old friend from high school (haven't seen her in TEN YEARS) and I spent more money than I was supposed to. All in all, a great day!
Re: jlowman1: SHORT UPDATE 3/18 =)
@jlowman1- i agree with the giovanni, it stripped my hair and it felt strained afterwards....have u tried the dr bonners?? ive heard mixed results with it...i have not tried the AO line of poos yet, maybe i will venture out to whole foods, lol

I've tried the Peppermint Castile soap bar. It was pretty good. I had just gotten away from it. I didn't like that it looked like a hairy bar of soap when I got done. Maybe I need to try the liquid.
My Mom used to get mad but now she's like, what are you using now? and how is it working for your hair. Im trying to get her involved so I can convert her but she has a FIRM grip on the creamy crack!
