Hey y'all, my co-worker came and thanked me for the EcoCustard. She said she's going to try it over the weekend and let me know how it goes! :-) And she said this in front of my other co-worker (my homie) who said (as she walked away)..."now you know it aint gonna look like your's right?" I love my peeps!

Hey Ladies!

Hair news...Last night I co-washed, deep conditioned, and twisted.

Co-wash: HEHelloHydration
DC: BioFusion Olive Oil Deep Conditioning Treatment w/honey, olive & castor oils added (I planned to keep this on for about an hour, BUT I fell asleep and it stayed on about about 5 hours! LOL) Anyway, I love this concoction! It makes my hair soft and moist!
Twists: Used my EcoCustard mix: Eco styler, shea butter, castor & olive oils.

One more thing: I oiled my scalp using a castor & olive oil mix. I love this stuff! :-)

The results...today's twist-out...soft, shiny, bouncy coils! I'm pleased!

oh wow Ryl! I had to go back and catch up again. I burst out laughing at the picture of the man waiting on you. aaaaahhhhaaaahhaaaaaaaaaa! That's hysterical! I have been using kccc too and I said on my own thread that I don't mind it taking forever to dry. It keeps me cool in this heat but I DO ride to work with all my windows down, including the sun roof to assist in the dry time. But maybe using a cool dryer as KNH suggested would help.

I just refreshed mine in the morning by letting my hair get a little we in the shower today. I learned that from Shida Naturals on youtube. Maybe just take your spray bottle to it next time.

Regardless- your twist out is beautiful. When I run out of my aveda I'm trying that custard.

I think I may have to try the dryer when using the KCCC, but I really don't have a problem with shrinkage...it is what it is! LOL And now that you mention it...with the heat coming, I better want it to be wet...my own personal A/C!

Been kinda out of sorts lately...I really don't know why! But, I always have my hair to keep me sane! It gives me something to do with my mind & my hands! Praise Him!

So...I think I'll do some henna today. Henna and a flexi-rod set. Yep, I wanna keep busy.

I know this may sound crazy, but my hair seems to be getting softer! LOL I mean, when I twist out, it just falls down...DAMN! I want big, stand up hair...and I'm getting pretty, soft lay down hair! OK...I'm a prime example of one never satisfied! Right? Now, if my hair never laid down, I'd probably have an issue with that too! SMH

You hair may not be standing up anymore because it is growing. That has happened to me with my wNg's!! I want that big stand up hair too!!
