Hey Ryl- the pic in your avi- is that from adding your sheamoisture milk back in OR the sheamoisture curl smoothie.
Re: TheRYL1...Hey Y'all! ;-)
Thank you very much, Sweet! You're lookin' pretty good yasef! LOLsweetdrk1 wrote:Love the Avi!

No problem...let me know how it works for you. This time, I also added about 4 spoonfuls of amla powder. I THINK it calmed down the orange...LOLswoodward wrote:thanks for the recipe!
Hey Poetic! Yes, I have been back on the Shea Moisture. The conditioning milk as a leave-in, the curl smoothie for twisting. It's been working pretty well. I'm really trying to figure just what ingredient is the one I truly need! I'm figuring it's the shea butter...I'mma find out! Re: TheRYL1...Hey Y'all! ;-)
This week will be #3 in the twist up challenge. I've really enjoyed it so far...I love my twists! So simple...no pain, no strain in the morning getting ready for work!
I've been using the green tea spritz the last two weeks. MAN! My hair has been soft and moisturized. I really think it's made a difference in the moisture department. My hair has made a change for the better since using this green tea spritz. I'm pleased. I wanted to try some other oils and stuff, but maybe I won't!
Throughout the week, I've used the spritz, used Carol's Daughter Curl Booster, then sealed with castor oil. That's it...that's all. And my twist out...it was the best! YAY! And today, after sleeping with the bonnet and doing nothing else, my hair is soft and BOUNCY! Yep, I said BOUNCY! Shocked the ish outta me for real!
Twists this week...
The twist out...
I couldn't help it...just pics of my curls...and they are as soft as they look! LOL I can't stop lookin' at it...because y'all know I was stuggling with dryness for real!
A happy camper...
One more...I was feeling my tennis shoes at that moment! LOL
Have a good one, y'all!

You can definitely see the difference in the moisture dept. Your twists look great. That's way I felt when using the veggie glycerine spray mix. I couldn't believe how soft, shiney and bouncey my hair was.
It feels good when you find something that works for your hair. But now I think I will have to find something to replace the veggie glycerine, since winter is appoaching. I hear it's not good in cold weather - take moisture out of the hair.

Now I have to say your twists are looking too cute! I took my twists down and had to much definition if that makes any sense. So I will be retwisting tonight! So you like the cd milk? Are you using the conditioner milk? Also are you just using straight tea nothing else?

Hey Ladies...Good Morning! ;-)
Yeah, detangling is a mess...I don't go over two weeks without detangling.
Have a wonderful day, y'all!
Thank you very much, Nubie! :-)NubieNatty wrote:wooooooow what a difference in the moisture pics! ur definitely doin somethin right.

Thank you, Red Head! I'm loving your avi, by the way...lookin' really good there!WhosThatRedHead wrote:Nice shoes!
Hey BBD! My spritz: green tea, aloe vera gel, 4-5 drops (I'd say the no. of drops depends on the size of your bottle) of tea tree oil, and a lil bit o' water...that's it. I've tried to move away from the glycerin, too. So far, I have no complaints!BlondeByDesire wrote:What does your green tea spritz consist of?
Hey KNH! Thank you very much! Yeah, I do understand the "too much definition" situation. LOL I like the CD hair milk...I have the curl booster...it's supposed to be the lite version of the hair milk. I use it and the Shea Moisture Conditioning Milk. I like to use the SM for my leave-in after washing/co-washing; I use the CD for moisturizing throughout the week. The CD is more oily than the SM, so I don't have to use so much product when I use it...I think of it as a moisturizer AND sealant! alright Ryl! I'm listening. The comparison pics say it all!
How much aloe vera gel are you adding to your your spritz? Like how much per cup of tea?

Hey Ryl,
Your hair is looking very moisturized! I definitely want to try this mix since I will be putting away the veggie glycerin for the winter. Thanks for the tip!

I have to try this mixture. I have yet to try the aloe Vera gel or tea tree oil. Your twist are beautiful!

Hey, I'm not Chrs...I have no method to my madness! LMAO I didn't measure a thing...I'd say I used 3 parts tea, one part aloe vera gel. Does that make sense?

Hey Y'all!
Nothing to report here...just twisted up, using the spritz and castor oil for scalp and sealing! I twisted using Shea Moisture's conditioning milk (leave-in) and the Curl Smoothie (for twisting).
Oh, I threw on a lil eye make-up this morning...just something to try since I BUY this stuff! I'll try to post pics this evening!
Everyone have a wonderful day...or as close to it as you can git! LOL
