12 Months Post Relaxer

I DID IT!!!! ONE FULL YEAR TODAY!!!! My last relaxer was March 18, 2010 at 4:00 pm!!! Yay Me!

My 1 year transition anniversary was March 1, 2011. This is my second transition, and I will be transitioning for 14 more months before the BC.

So I made it. 12 months post relaxer Feb 13th. Also the day I ran my first half marathon...but anywhoo...I'm super excited and surprised I made it this far. I was flat ironing the first three months then went on to try twist outs, braid outs and flexi rod sets. The braid out & twist outs just don't look good anymore so I do fexi rod set every month or so. I've been bunning about 90% of the time since around September.

Now that I'm at a year I'm thinking about getting a weave or some Senegalese twists to hold me over until the big chop.

I'm planning to go for about 2 years, but I can see it happening sooner. Whenever it happens it happens! Lol
