Hey Lady hope you are having a good day but when I went to target the Miss Jessie and Jane Carter where in a self in front by themselves but not with the other hair products. I literally was on my way out the door when I decided to go see what hair accessories they had. They where closer to the products so called for African American hair. HTH

I seem to have missed a lot in your thread!!! Just have to say that your twistout made a great curly puff!!! One not-perfect style can end up being perfect for something else ... your hair is so amazingly full and healthy that it'll look hawt regardless.
You're beautiful with straight hair too, but you have a different "light" in your natural hair pics ... if that makes sense ...

LOL I feel you on the lack of skills but we make it work so it's all goodJuices-n-Berries wrote:That fro looked awesome girl! I have no flat twist or braiding skills either. But I think your results turned out fine.
Thanks JnB!!
Thanks Lynn!! I totally agree I just have to keep on trying! There's no way I'll quit after only trying it once! I'm in it to win it!! lol I think I'll try it again next weekLynnieluve wrote:That fro was awesome!!!! Loved it!!! I think you flat twist looked fine. You just need to keep at it. I think you didnt get any definition because of the products you use. You have to use something with some hold. You should try it again.
Hey hun!!! I'm having a pretty good day actually! I hope you are tooMz. Hello everybody!!!
We made it to Hump Day! Hooray!! But I still can't wait til Friday
This morning I was going to try another WnG but I ended up putting Chlo "The Fro" in a puff instead. She's sooooo soft today! After wetting my hair in the shower, I added some Aussie Moist (I'm starting to fall in love with it ) and I didn't really detangle or scrunch. Just added conditioner.
Then I started thinking about that MiraCurl video with instructions on how to apply the Curling Jelly. Mind you, I don't have any Miracurl but I had IC Fantasia Silky Gel Moisturizer Activator that I wanted to try.
So I put my hair in twists with the Aussie Moist in it. There were about 10-12 twists in my hair. And when I got out the shower I shingled the gel into my hair but VERY QUICKLY because I was running late. After I got dressed I decided to put Chlo in a puff instead of leaving her out because she was too saturated still and I didn't want products dripping on my notes in class
That's all folks! Have an awesome rest of the day curlies and be blessed

Your puff is gorgeous! Love you curls. Did you double your headband or does that one fit well around your hair?

Oh yeah Giovanni is in the aisle with the cosmetics not hair products so is ALBA, BURT"S BEE'S, and a couple of other natural products. Not quite sure why Target seperates them away from the other hair products.

I actually used a scarf to do my puff!!! But the scarf does go around my head twice and when I use a headband or an ouchless band I double it up toolovesunshine17 wrote:Your puff is gorgeous! Love you curls. Did you double your headband or does that one fit well around your hair?
yeah I don't know either but thanks for letting me know! Now I'll be able to find them with easeMz. Thanks Mel!!! I was surprised at how soft it was since I used a gel but it's like the creamiest gel I've ever used! So it worked out wellMellowOne wrote:Loving the puff and it does look soft

Hey there lady, I love the puff. It is gorgeous!!
When I use the ouchless headbands, I double it twice and my head hurts...ouch . What's your secret for not having it hurt so?

Thanks IB!!! I haven't used ouchless bands in awhile because they make my head hurt too! So what I do is use a satin scarf instead.Intelligentbeauty wrote:Hey there lady, I love the puff. It is gorgeous!!

It's the same one you would use to do a headwrap but I use it for my puffs! I might just make a video because I'm terrible at explaining things
But yeah I would get a headache from those ouchless bands so I stopped using them. Hope that helps!
Aww thanks KNH!!! I kind of did one this morning but not really. lolKinkyNappyHappy wrote:That is the best puff ever!!!! You have quite a bit of hair; have you done a length check recently?
The front of my hair, like the bangs, are a little past my nose and almost reach my upper lip.
The sides of my hair are like 1/2 centimeter past my collarbone.
The back is kinda sorta shoulder length but not really.
Hopefully I'll do a rollerset soon so I can really see an hontest to gooness length check
Thanks BBD!BlondeByDesire wrote:Wow bholmes - that puff is gawgeous its really big and full ... The curlies are popping too ... Very nice
Hey Shee!!! It's going well. Just starting my last quarter of school. Yipee!!! I can't wait til Resurrection Sunday though We're having a church picnic after service!SheeTacular_Napps wrote:Hey lady!! How is it going?
Hello my Sweet!!!!sweetdrk1 wrote:Hey honey...any plans for the weekend?
We're having sunrise service on Sunday (6 in the am!!!) and then we're having a church picnic from 12-5pm!! It should be loads of fun
I was telling IB that I will probably make a video of it as well in the near future! But I don't think I've used ouchless bands since the BC in December. I started using a satin scarf that you would you to do a headwrap for my puffs instead. I hated having a headache from those bands so I founds something that worked for me!jcanalena79 wrote:Intelligentbeauty wrote:Hey there lady, I love the puff. It is gorgeous!!

You know how you guys do that cool thing where a word will be in red and underlined but it's really a link somewhere? How do you do that?? Like when it says Click Here to see how to upload a picture and the "click here" is a link to somewhere else. lol
Re: bholmes87: twist challenge week 5!! Let's get it in!
Click on the icon above that says link you will find two boxes. The top one you put in the URL information and the second one you put "click here" or whatever you want the label to say. HTH
