Thanks guys for the compliments! I have been busy with preparing for this move, so that is why I havent been really active. I will get back on schedule in a few weeks...

Anyways, My bff (she has a head full on beautiful natural hair...) discovered another way of trying your wngs...so I decided to give it a try today, since I havent touched my hair since sunday! Lol!!! And I have to say, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now your hair will drip a lot, so if you hate dripping this isnt the method for you.

This is what you do: (she wrote this)


"we do it the same way we usually do right..like apply the condish we're leaving in..(while we are in the shwer)..before you turn the shower head off, turn the water to cool and let the water run down ur hair..don't squish it out (the water)..well, at least not all of it. Let ur hair dry as natural..if u can stand the drippies. I shake my hair once i'm done styling..just so i don't have my hair leaving a drip trail.

when my hair dries for the day..the curls are even softer..true story.

I also apply EVOO before & AFTER i put my conditioner in too."



I skipped the EVOO, I just applied my leave in (Bed Head MM), detangled like crazy, made sure all the knots were out. Turned the shower on cool/cold...put my hair under the running shower until I felt it was saturated enough...at this point i have serious drippies...I shake my head slightly, like i am telling somone no, for about a second...barely did this. That was it, of course, part your hair or do what works for you at this point...



What surprised me was the volume I had with WET hair...i am like, okay...I love big hair! So I am super happy!



My hair is about 75% dry right now... all I used was conditioner only...i am assuming if i used gel i probably wouldnt have this type of volume already.



This is why I love WnGs..there are a thousand ways to do them, and you can achieve different results depending on what look you are going for.

the water doesnt bother me since it is getting warm. I know for a fact my hair will dry pretty fast in GA...the temps are in the 80s there! I LOVE THE SOUTH!

Remember, this is WET hair...no clips were used for volume either...

In the summer I purposely go out with my hair dripping wet. I just carry a towel with me. The wet hair keeps my cool while everyone else around me is wet with sweat (yuck & LOL).
The volume and the curls look great. This method makes your hair look a lot thicker. Very cute.
