The twist out was beautiful! I wish you loved it as much as I do
And I understand that when you want big hair you won't settle for anything less!!!! But it looks beautiful

MC, I am so sorry you didn't like your results. I actually thought it looked really good. But then again, your hair can find no fault in my eyes.........

Lol! Go for it!
jcanalena79 wrote:Wow, the twist out does look amazing!!! I guess the brick pattern really did make a huge difference!!! I feel you on the straightness, though ... mine does the same thing, particularly in the front and my hair doesn't get big until days later after refreshing w/water, etc.
Thank you! The brick pattern method is awesome! Yes, girl, I hate the way may hair gets with twistouts!
mstokes2008 wrote:I think your twistout looks great. It doesn't look as big as your WnGs but it looks amazing all the same. I can't wait until my hair gets long enough to start messing with twistout, braidouts, etc. I hope you and your family have a safe trip back stateside!!! I will miss your posts and videos, you & your hair are such an inspiration to me and my brand new TWA lol
Thank you! It will be long before you know it!
mochamoments wrote:Looks great. Maybe you don't like it cause the curls are not as defined as with the wash n go's. I think it's looks great on you though. My hair was actually much bigger with the flat twists. Strange. LOL
Thank you! It is not necessarily that, it is like my hair is straight, trust me, the pictures do not do any justice. if feels "flat". Lol!!!
mochamoments wrote:Another thing I just thought about, did you do your flat twist on freshly co-washed hair? Doing on 2 or 3 day old hair makes a huge difference. So try that and see if that works any better. When I do it on freshly washed hair I get major shrinkage and flatness, but when I do it on 2-3 day old hair I it is much fuller and fluffier.
Ha! I have tried it that way as well, on dry hair too...the results are worse! The drier my hair is the more straight it gets, if that makes sense...
Thank you! Tia posted a link to this method on page 15 of my thread...i think it is there...lol! It is in her fotki.BlondeByDesire wrote:Well I like it too - but I understand if it's not to your liking just yet. You do perfect WnG's though as well all know and have witnessed.
So how do you do this brick method?
sweetdrk1 wrote:I thought I posted a response already! Anyway, I think it looks great!! But I completely understand it not looking the way YOU want it to look. Thank you for always sharing your results, even when you don't like them.
IB & Tia thanks for the inspiration, you have me wanting to try the flattwist again.
Thanks sweet! Nah, I wasnt feeling it...

Good Morning!
Nothing much here today..believe it or not, I havent styled my hair since Sunday! Lol! I am walking around with my hair all over the place!!!!
Random thought: I think my hair is dropping...why? BC the curls are hanging more (stretching), I am not getting as much shrinkag..i still get it, but I am noticing some signs of the curls begining to drop. IDK, I am not sure if it is the cassia, bc i notice this before the cassia treatments...My BF told me that when she hit her one year mark, it is like her hair grew overnight or something...weird...and i felt my curls in the back rubbing against my neck! And my hair was super dry!
Anyway, that is all for today...trying to get things together for this move is getting hectic...
I hope everyone has a great day!

Yes, moving can be hectic indeed. My husband is looking at taking a job in Tallahassee which is closer to family, but the company is not paying relo. This would be the first time that we have moved ourselves. I am so not looking forward to that!
He's been out of work for a year so I'm trying to be thankful.

Re: MahoganyCurls- Herllo!!!! (In Madea's voice....lol!)
So I am pretty open with you guys here...this is how my hair looks when I go 3+ days without "combing" it! Ha! Jovahn said I look like buckwheat!!!!!! Lol!!!!!
Well, things are coming along with the move and all...today, I locked myself out of my house! I had groceries too! Then I went to my husband's job and he didnt have his keys either. We sold our camry a few weeks ago and my friend took me to the grocery store ...to make matters worse she had to go be at her job around the time I locked my keys. German doors lock behind you. I had my keys, but my house key wasnt on the key ring. Long story...anyway, Luckily, we stay on base, so I had to call the fire dept and they sent a locksmith over. He had a replica key and just opened the door for us (my husband left work to wait with us)...then that was it, we didnt have to pay or anything thank goodness!
lol!!!!
my hair has a mind of its own..i didnt pick it or anything! Lol!!! When I went grocery shopping I just tied it down with a scarf...believe it or not I do not feel like doing anything to it for a few days! I know bad, right?
Here is our new car! (2005 BMW 330Ci) All the paperwork is final! It is ours!!!
The car is in GA right now, so will get it when we arrive home... so excited!
