The curl definition is looking great!
Do you think you need to change up some products that work well with the change in weather?

Thanks Tia.
I think I may have to. But I'm not sure what they are yet? So I'm I to go with lighter butters, etc. Help is needed - this is my first spring/summer being natural. I know some folks switch up during this time. What has been your experience?

Thanks .. I have no problem with curl definition when I twist - it's just keeping it moisturized is the key.

Thanks KNH - yeah that's what I'm kinda feeling right now with the Cocolatte. I may revisit it again in the fall. Right now it's doing nothing for my hair. But I love the smell.

I LOVE your puff!!! You definitely got some awesome definition. I'm still struggling with my hair being soft to the touch as well but I know we'll figure it out

Re: BlondeByDesire - My Hair has a name - BELLA -means beautiful
Good Morning SisterCurlFriends,
Today I'm still working with my curly puff . This morning I did it using the pantyhose method and I love it. I had watched Chiselle (sp? of YT) do this and I followed her method. Worked like a charm. I didn't do anything to my hair last night but slap on my bonnet and went to bed. This morning I sprayed with water/oil mixture and EVCO on top. Applied Eco Styler to my edges and nape. First time I've used my boar bristle brush in long time to smooth my front edges and back (just those parts). Put some EVCO on my hands, applied to hair and fluffed. Used the one leg of pantyhose applied like a headband and pulled to desired height of puff and I was able to wrap around twice and tied in back. Very simple. This will be a staple style for me in the summer.

In the warmer weather my hair likes a lot of water based products and thrives from damp styling. Care Free Curl has been working great so far this spring. I hope it works just as well in the summer when it rains less. Using heavy butters and creams in the spring/summer makes me feel like my hair is frying. Sometimes it would get so hot that I would not even be able to touch my hair.
