So...I'm reading your post (by the way I can't see the first pictures) and I'm thinking that the cap with the braids out was too cute!! So I'm looking and I said to myself..JnB has on a fedex shirt. So I continue reading about your Easter basket and all you goodies...feeling a little neglected, and it hit me!!!

You shirt says FedUP with MEN!!! Thanks for making me laugh, and taking my mind of the fact that I didn't get an Easter basket!!!

Lol. Yes indeed! I've actually had the shirt since high school. And alas my feelings are still the same. Lol. Sigh... The other pics didn't show up? Hmmm. I'll have to wait and see if anyone else has this problem.

In hair news, I forgot to tell ya'll how hard I'm working to curb my pjism. I went into an HEB plus! the other day. For those of you not in Texas, it's like a super grocery store, but not really like superwalmart cuz there's not clothes. Anyway, it's great. They have everything. And the hair care isle is phenom. They have every brand including organic brands (Burts Bees, Avalon Organics, Jason, Nature's Gate) and even some essential oils. But not only to they have lots of brands, they have like whole lines of the brands, not just a product or two. I was in heaven. But guess what, I walked out with nothing! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, I managed to walk out of all that goodness with nothing, but went right into Target and got sucked back in to the Shea Moisture products. I only bought the DT though (forget the name). It has the same scent as the body wash and I LOVE IT! It has great ingredients. I will be using this after my next cowash at which point I will post a full product review.

Finally, I must say I'm a bit sad. It's April, which means this challenge is almost over. This makes me sad for two reasons: 1) I have yet to win a chicken dinner. It's not that big a deal, but I think I've done a pretty goo job of posting daily. Also, I still have no clear answer on whether you have to be a weekly winner in order to win the grand price. But even more important is reason 2) I have learned so much from this thread. This has been my way of journaling my hair progress and getting to share my experiences with others. I have met so many wonderful people and I feel like the ladies in this thread have a closer bond as we are regulars to CurlyNikki. When the challenge is over, what will happen? I'd be willing to continue posting, but what about ya'll? Who wants to rename the thread and continue even though there's no prize. I think there's so much value in what this thread has accomplished and I hate to see it go...

I feel the same way, and I, too, wonder what will happen. Was there a challenge before this one? Will they just re-start? I'm not open enough for a world-wide-web blog (you see how long it took me to post pics w/out covering my face, lol) and being able to document and feeling accountable to others has been very helpful and I wish it could continue in an organized fashion ...

I would like for you to continue your thread also, because it has been lots of help to me. Reading about your journey and seeing how you are growing is inspiration to me, because before I had like 2 products and I always wore a wng style-but now I am so versatile with my hair and I have become a product junkie(not sure if thats a good thing). j/k

Thanks. It is time consuming. They take even longer to take down too! I wanna learn to cornrow. I bet the braidouts would be even more awesome then. But my goal for the summer will be to perfect the wash and go.

It must have been my computer...I finally saw pictures!!! Love the braids and the braid out!!! Good Job!!

I haven't won a chicken dinner, and I figure I lowered my chances by braiding my hair up. Plus I'm not as committed to posting in other threads as I am to the BnB thread.

I don't mind cause I've gain so much knowledge, and I feel like there is a bond between the ladies on this thread!!

I hope we can keep it going...I love seeing and reading about everyone's hair and their day!!
