I think I will try the Oyin Pudding and Shine and define to do a braid out which I have never tried. I love the style on you, and your accesories are really cute. You are really doing a good job with this natural hair thing. lol

Thanks! I think it really fits me. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. It's probably one of the best decisions I've made in a long time.

JnB: Ok. your hair and those earrings are gorgeous. I haven't stepped out of my comfort level to try different types of earrings or headbands. I don't know if my it's my hairline or what but the bands look strange on me..but YOU are rockin both...love it!!

Morning all. So on Monday night I cowashed with Suave Rosemary Mint conditioner. I'm sad because it didn't tingle as much as I wanted or give me that cool feeling. I am desperately searching for a conditioner that can do this for cowashing. Any suggestions?

After cowashing, I derangled with AOHSR and HH. I used the HH because I'm not sure if the AOHSR was giving me enough slip. After, I did a deep condition with a heat cap for 20 minutes with My Honey Child Honey Hair Mask. Rinsed and applied HH as a leave in. I tried my hand at another set of braids. I used Burnt Sugar Pomade (I love the smell and it makes my hair shine!) This time i did it on damp hair instead of wet so it was easier to grip. They are smaller and neater this time. But i'm not sure if it'll work in my favor or not. Lol. I kinda liked the big messy look.

Ya'll don't wanna see my ratty ol braids huh? Lol. Ok. Ok. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I don't wear the braids out I cover with a hat or something and wear nice earrings. I wanna try and keep them till Saturday for Easter hair.

My day was alot better today. After all, it is Resurrection Sunday and Jesus died rose for me to save me from myself. What more could I ask for?In addition, my mommy made me a wonderful Easter basket (yes I know I'm old for Easter baskets but we still do them) I was giddy. Each year she does a different theme. This year she decided to focus on: NATURAL PRODUCTS! Yay! My basket included a book called "Natural Beauty at Home filled with recipes on how to make body, skin, and hair stuff, about 6 5 oz glass jars, and get this, a $20 gift certificate to Whole Foods!!! My dad also threw in a book and a gift card to Chili's, and my grandma gave me some socks n undies. I didn't get that many gifts on Christmas. Lol.

Anyway, time for hair news. Ya'll know I did braids for a braidout. I was actually able to keep them in until today. Yay for protective styling! Now, on Wednesday I took some braids down in the front because I had somewhere to go and didn't wanna wear it in braids, so I had a braidout in the front and a hat in the back.
