6 Months into my Transitioning--NEED HELP!

I am six weeks into my transition, and I don't know what to do with my hair!! I am constantly flat ironing it, and I know that isn't good for it, so I need some suggestions, hairstyles, SOMETHING! pictures, or links to how to videos would be SO APPRECIATED!! Thanks Ladies! =]=]

Get roller sets. So much better for your hair than the direct heat of a flat iron.

Try curformers if you like a straighter curlier style: www.curlformers.com. There is also a YT video for using curformers on natural and/or transition hair. I have used them and they are great.

I agree with ohsodadorable, roller sets rock. If you like the curly look on you. Curlformers are nice if you have cash to spend and want elongated curls but perm/cold wave rod or flexi rod sets are what I love and are cheaper. Here is a good tutorial... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_qkS8zhAac

Everyone gave great advice. For me regular rollersets are not the best route right now (7 mos post). So find out what works best for you. I blow dry and flat iron weekly now or I try a cheat set ( rollerset in ponytails) and then flat iron. It is all that is working right now. This is my second transition and I did the same thing during the first transition. You could also try braid outs, cheat sets, flexi rods, twist outs, or get your hair braided with extensions. HHG

Great advice ladies! Roller sets are good if they work for you. For me, not a good idea...my head doesn't fit under the dryer. So, I wear braid outs, buns, ponytails and flat iron.
