Re: The Word.
Jesus died on The Cross that we may have life. Are you truely taking advantage of this life? Are you "living" . Its never to late or early to live. When you think of how our Lord died, and was crucified, and think of the life you are living, would you image that He is pleased? I say this to say, that our Lord didn't die so that we could fornicate, lie, gossip, and covet. We serve a Holy God, and in His righteousness, He does NOT tolerate sin. I also say this to say, that living a life void of sin does not mean that you are living the life God intended for you to live. Meditate on what it means to have life more "abundantly". Don't live your life day to day harboring dreams, putting off ambitious. The Lord will open door for those who take chances. Seize opportunities. Seize life. Its never to late or early. Just living right doesn't mean that you are getting the most out of life. God wants you to get the MOST out of life. He wants us to have the best, that's why He gave His best! His Son. So give your best, and live life. The Lord says, cast your burdens upon Him and whatsoever thy doeth, do it with all thy might! Seize the season! Stay steadfast in prayer and faith! Remember, the pain of discipline is far less than the pain of disappointment. Y'all be blessed!

Jeremiah 32:27
“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
Oh Lord, my God. When I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds thine hands hath made. I see the stars. I hear the rolling thunder. Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
Then sings my soul...my Saviour, God, to thee. HOW GREAT THOU ART! HOW GREAT THOU ART. THEN SINGS MY SOUL. MY SAVIOUR, GOD, TO THEE. HOW GREAT THOU ART. HOW GREAT THOU ART.
Hallelujah!

Re: The Word.
I'm glad that I found this thread. One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 91. I love it in the KJV. But, I also like the way it's put in The Message.
I know that it's long, but...please accomodate me. Here you go. Enjoy. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes.
You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow,
Say this: "God, you're my refuge.
I trust in you and I'm safe!"
That's right—he rescues you from hidden traps,
shields you from deadly hazards.
His huge outstretched arms protect you—
under them you're perfectly safe;
his arms fend off all harm.
Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night,
not flying arrows in the day,
Not disease that prowls through the darkness,
not disaster that erupts at high noon.
Even though others succumb all around,
drop like flies right and left,
no harm will even graze you.
You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,
watch the wicked turn into corpses.
Yes, because God's your refuge,
the High God your very own home,
Evil can't get close to you,
harm can't get through the door.
He ordered his angels
to guard you wherever you go.
If you stumble, they'll catch you;
their job is to keep you from falling.
You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,
and kick young lions and serpents from the path.
14-16 "If you'll hold on to me for dear life," says God,
"I'll get you out of any trouble.
I'll give you the best of care
if you'll only get to know and trust me.
Call me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times;
I'll rescue you, then throw you a party.
I'll give you a long life,
give you a long drink of salvation!"

Re: The Word.
Pray hard. Listen harder. The question isn't nearly as important as the response.

Re: The Word.
We walk by faith and not by sight. For faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.Call those things that are not as though they were..
